Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! He also was fantastic in making sure all of the music played on their appropriate cues and was well-prepared. “We were SO picky about our DJ. We know that good music has the power to either elevate (or ruin) an event. We were super nervous but Dart Collective was the answer we needed. The benefit of booking through them is you're able to fill out a "Music Map" where you answer questions like "What is a MUST PLAY"? or "What artist(s) to avoid?" It's rather extensive (took us about 2-3hrs to complete). BUT - totally worth it. Through this map, they pair you with an available DJ, in your area, that has the experience the same music taste as you. It's a pretty great formula. We were nervous for the months leading up because we just weren't sure if they were going to match us properly. But, they definitely exceeded our expectations. Our only complaint is that it was SO GOOD that we wanted more, lol! Book! You won't regret it.”
