Sylvanside Farm, established in 1744, evokes the ambiance of a small village in the European countryside. In 2018, the farm was purchased and restored to its former glory. The goal in hosting weddings is to preserve this special land, Loudoun’s rich farming heritage and the beautiful rural landscape of Loudoun County, Virginia.

The Appalachian Wedding Chapel & Boutique is a charming and unique waterfront venue located at 2925 Northwestern Pike in Capon Bridge, WV. Sitting miraculously beside the healing waters of the Cacapon River, and offering both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, it is unlike any other in the mid-Atlantic region. This exquisite riverside location shares space with Basswood, the town of Capon Bridge’s premier Airbnb. Five beautifully appointed suites offer lovely accommodations and the Boutique carries locally crafted ceremonial accessories like handfasting cords, drinking vessels, fine chocolates and unique gifts for all occasions. With a variety of entertainment and dining possibilities within walking distance, or just a short drive to Romney or Winchester Va., couples can easily add a reception to their special day. The LODGE is our latest addition, which includes 14 studio hotel rooms and 16 suites. All spacious suites are equipped with kitchens and have the ability to adjoin to a studio for families or larger parties. Half of the suites are western views with balconies. All rooms are equipped with espresso machines, fine linens, and heated floors in bathrooms. The lodge has a top floor banquet hall featuring breathtaking sunset views of the Allegheny Mountains. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Carriage House was built in 1908 as part of the Watson family estate called High Gate. It was designed by Horace Trumbauer, architect of The Biltmore Estate. Your wedding will have the elegance of a by-gone era. The elements of character show through with a terra cotta roof and verdigris copper accents that are trademarks of the Tudor Revival Style architecture. The event can be held inside the Carriage House with up to 135 guests or under the high-peaked tent in the garden that can accommodate up to 260 guests.
