Built-in 1925, in the grand architectural style of Beaux-Arts Classical Revival, the Simon Theatre provided a splendid setting for many theatrical performances, film screenings and ballroom dances. The James Simon family commissioned Houston architect Alfred C. Finn, whose career included designing a number of prominent Houston buildings as well as the San Jacinto Monument, to design the theatre for the community of Brenham. Today, after a meticulous million-plus dollar renovation, the glamour and grand style lives on for future generations in the newly named Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre. Welcome. to the Brazos Valley’s premier wedding and event venue. We are a restored 1950’s cotton gin, located near the Brazos River and historic Hidalgo Falls and surrounded by 800 acres of farmland. Just an hour’s drive from Houston and 20 minutes from College Station, this unique setting combines vintage industrial style with modern details and amenities. Our family invites you to come experience the authentic charm and rich history of the Gin as you and your loved ones celebrate your special occasion.

The Amish Barn at Edge is an authentic, Amish-built barn located on a scenic, secluded patch of land in Edge, Texas! Within our grounds, you'll find the barn itself, a blacksmith shop, one belltower, and a fully furnished farmhouse for your convenience—all surrounded by beautiful, rolling countryside. Over the years, we have had the honor of hosting not only beautiful weddings, but family reunions, formal dances, corporate parties, and even Aggie Muster for the class of '69. Our walls can accommodate 225 of your closest friends and family, with room for a dance floor. However, as an indoor/outdoor venue, we are always open to events much smaller or much larger!

Bingham Ranch Events is a beautifully wooded venue sitting on 78 acres with multiple outdoor ceremony sites to choose from. We have a large white tent that can host up to 300 guests for rain or bad weather as well as an outdoor pavilion for your reception, with twinkling lights hanging from the ceiling. Under the pavilion is a large catering room as well as men and women's restrooms. The 1850's white house is 2,600 sq feet, and the entire house is available for the brides and her party with a very large bridal suite, with ample mirrors and great lighting for hair and make-up. The men have a separate "men's cave" to comfortably hang out with a large party room, large tv, refrigerator and bathrooms attached. The rental time is 12 - 14 hours. We provide all the tables, chairs for your rental time. We are a new venue and just launching for 2025 and 2026.

Both spaces offer spectacular views of the private lake, colorful Texas sunsets, and charming photo opportunities.

Situated between Houston and Austin, this accessible location is ideal for guests arriving from near and far. With its unique contemporary design, this venue offers a chic and edgy setting for your wedding celebration. Features 20-foot ceilings, vintage chandeliers, and exposed brick walls. Up to 250 guests can be accommodated in this venue, with both indoor and outdoor event spaces available. The concrete interiors provide a modern aesthetic with an industrial vibe. You can prepare for your wedding event in the get-ready room, which is equipped with a free-standing bathtub and compact kitchenette area. After your reception, guests can look forward to dancing the night away in the large ballroom. You are welcome to bring along your favorite vendors to take care of your drinks, catering, and entertainment to make your wedding day complete. The staff at Ice Plant Bldg. can take care of cleaning up the space after your event, leaving you to relax and enjoy yourselves.
