I am Mama to three wild boys and wife to a pretty rad redhead. Photography and the printed image are things that I hold close to my heart, right next to leather jackets, fuzzy dogs, vinyl records, and cheetah print everything. All of this nonsense information about me might not seem important, but trust me, it is. Your photographer should be more than just a somebody who knows their way around a camera— they should be a friend you jive with.

Hi! I'm Meghan. I've had a love for photography since my parents bought me my first camera for Christmas in 2001. I took pictures of anyone and anything that sat still for more than .03 seconds. The more pictures I took, the more I loved it. It became a passion of mine, but it wasn't until later that I had the dream of starting my own business. In the meantime, I teach middle school - 7th grade Language Arts to be exact. Yes, it's exactly as crazy as you're imagining, likely even more so. I’m a photographer, mom, wife, snowboarder, roller coaster enthusiast, former math teacher, and former mechanical engineer. I love the process of learning, which led to me earning my Ph.D. (but you don’t have to call me Dr.)! I have an extremely short attention span, am addicted to wearing beanies and headbands, and am fueled by chai tea. I'm socially awkward and I make weird faces when I concentrate to take photos. I dress for comfort and for rolling around on the ground, standing in creeks, and climbing into trees to capture the best angles for my photographs — but I do clean up reasonably well on wedding days!
