Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. “I have to admit, I was hesitant to go with Petal Thyme because they don’t have a big online/social media presence but I’m so glad I trusted the positive Zola reviews and pulled the trigger. We gave Emma and Haley pretty much free rein over the florals for our wedding. I had some inspo photos and answered their questions, but pretty much the only concrete instructions I gave were that the color palate should be “rainbow but not like ROYGBIV” and that the flowers should be as local as possible, preferably from within 500 miles of Arizona. Even though I didn’t have a clear vision, the flowers were very important to me and I wanted a lot. We wanted sustainable flowers and they made sure to not use any floral foam and that the flowers went to good homes after the ceremony, in addition to sourcing the flowers locally like we asked. “When I was looking for floral vendors for my July 2024 wedding in Block Island, I came across Ayla’s Instagram, and I knew immediately I had to work with her. I fell in love with the whimsical, natural, English-garden vibe of her florals, and I just thought she was the coolest person. From the first conversation we had, it felt like she “got” me, suggesting flowers, designs, and concepts better than I could possibly articulate myself. She was incredibly thoughtful putting together multiple proposals that fit our vision and our budget. The entire planning process couldn’t have been easier because of how sweet, communicative, and easy Ayla was to work with. Cut to the wedding day, and I was honestly speechless seeing her work come to life in our tent. Ayla is an ARTIST. She created a gorgeous 65 ft table runner for our head table that was so dreamy I still think about it. The bouquets were exactly what I was looking for - natural and simple but packed a stunning punch. Then there was the tent entrance installation, which was so beautiful on its own but also so thoughtfully designed to enhance the view and setting of our venue. Multiple guests came up to me on the wedding day (and even in the weeks afterwards) commenting on how the florals were some of the most unique and beautiful they had seen. I truly could go on and on. Ayla and her amazing team at shade studio exceeded every expectation a million times over. Hands down, Ayla is the best and I couldn’t recommend her more.”
