We recently got married and Lucky Spur and loved our experience! Sharie, Dakon and team made everything so easy for us. We did the weekend stay, which was important to us as most of our guests were traveling from out of state. It was so fun to have the ranch to ourselves all weekend and there was plenty to do on site. The accommodations were great and everyone had a comfortable place to stay and plenty of towels and other necessities. It was super easy to access our portal and payment plans and easy to add on the beer burros (HUGE hit) and Lonesome Spur catering (also a HUGE hit!). We loved the open houses and used them as opportunities to meet recommended vendors and try the food and was thoroughly impressed with all our vendors and the full catering menu for the weekend. I can’t say enough good things about this venue!

I cannot recommend the Nest at Ruth Farms enough! The Venue Director, Calla and the Venue Coordinator, Gabby were wonderful to work with! They made the wedding day smooth and stress free. The venue is stunning and kept up! When I was first visiting the venue, they were re-painting to make sure it looks stunning for all events. They recently built a Chapel onsite which is a nice backup plan if you are wanting to get married outside and it rains. The bridal suite is large and absolutely beautiful to take pictures in. The Grooms suite is also a good size, and both suits have their own private bathroom. I loved working with this venue and wish I could relive my wedding day over and over!

We cannot express how thankful we are to the incredible team at Chapel at Palacios for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was exactly how we imagined—and more. One of the biggest stress-relievers for us was the all-inclusive options offered at the Chapel at Palacios. They made planning so much easier by taking care of everything we needed, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the process. The level of care, effort, and attention to detail was extraordinary, and it made a world of difference in creating a seamless, stress-free experience for us. Our coordinators, Lainey and Payton, were absolute gems. Their professionalism, organization, and calm demeanor kept everything running smoothly, ensuring that the day flowed perfectly. They were always there to offer guidance, answer questions, and take care of anything that came up, so we could just focus on enjoying the moment. We felt completely supported throughout the entire process! We also want to give a huge shout-out to the rest of the team who made our day so special: Tyler, our amazing DJ, who kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night; Lexie, our fantastic photographer, who captured every magical moment beautifully; and Hector, our additional helper, who was always ready with a smile and willing to lend a hand wherever needed. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help bring our dream wedding to life. Every detail was taken care of with such care and precision, and we truly felt that this was a day made just for us. Jm Prosperity Farm Rustic Barn Venue

5.0

Argyle, TX
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Raw space
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $2,800

Our rustic, elegant venue was originally a horse farm that trained champions. In 2018, we converted our main barn into a venue. We wanted our venue to have a look all its own. We mixed old wood, rustic hardware, & treasures with new things to create the stand-alone one-of-a-kind look & vibe this venue has today. When you visit, you will see old wood mixed with twinkle lights, chandeliers, & antique stained glass from old church buildings. Putting these elements together has created a gorgeous warm & inviting space. Our venue also offers an attached covered pavilion(with drop-down windscreens for inclement weather) & twinkle lights above. This is an excellent place for most of our ceremonies. We love having the bride hidden behind the big wooden doors that slide open for her entrance! This fantastic space doubles as space for additional partying as the night goes on! We are dedicated to ensuring your event is fantastic & will be on-site

Why you'll love this venue

  • Offers full flexibility in setup and decor
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Unique barn setting

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
  • Not wheelchair accessible
From the very first interaction with Jan and the team at Jm Prosperity Farm Rustic Barn Venue, we were blown away by their thorough, caring, and accommodating approach. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we had ever hoped and dreamed it would be. Jan was incredibly helpful, constantly checking in with me and my wedding party to see if there was anything she could do to help out. She made sure all of our vendors knew exactly where to go and how I wanted my vision for the decor to come to life. The venue looked absolutely stunning in our photos - the level of detail and beauty was beyond our expectations. We are so grateful to Jan and the entire Jm Prosperity Farm team for making our wedding day run so smoothly and for creating such a magical experience for us and all of our guests.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.
