We did not use The Knott to find this venue but we had such an amazing experience we had to share. The venue itself, the first thing you see is a modern foodhall / full bar with a large variety of restaurants. If youre staying at the hotel connected, it was such a great place to hangout with your bridal parties before everything starts. Moving along to the even areas, the ceremony room gives off a modern barn yard style venue and it's such a pleasant contrast from what you initially see when first walking in which really adds to the "wow" factor when entering the room. The cocktail hour area is amazing as well and after we gifted some of our items, they will now have Cornhole and a beer cart available! The area itself is wide open with great seating areas as well. The reception is another instance where the contrast is such a difference from the food hall downstairs, it once again adds so much to that jsw drop reaction. We were approached multiple times complementing how "cool" this venue was and it was definitely a true compliment. Now the venue wouldn't be anywhere with out the staff and I can not say enough great things about them. The entire time was courteous, professional and really give they sense that they want to make sure you have your special day as one to remember. Specifically wanted to shout out our amazing coordinator - Brianna, banquet captain - Lee j and Dj - Rhy's. These three went above and beyond for us and it seemed like that was just their normal demeanor. Brianna made sure we had nothing to worry about and made every part of the planning process a breeze. Lee J was also always checking in appropriately often to ensure we were never left wanting, thirsty or hungry. Rhy's was also great to work with, we had a very specific request with music which ended up having my wife and I take part in a lightsaber fight to two different versions of starwars music - Duel of the Fates, and he handled it masterfully. All in all, 10/10 can not recommend enough.

Although our wedding hasn’t happened yet, we couldn’t wait to share how thrilled we’ve been with our experience so far with The Headquarters! From the very beginning, the team has been phenomenal, Taylor and Janae’s professionalism and communication has made the entire process smooth and stress-free thus far. A special shoutout to Taylor, who played a huge role in helping us feel confident about booking a venue still under renovation. Her years of experience with Wedgewood and new venue openings reassured us that their blueprints and mock-ups are always spot-on with the final product—and it’s easy to see that this space is going to be stunning. We were specifically looking for a venue that felt unique and special, something fresh that none of our friends or family had used before. Choosing The Headquarters was a leap of faith, but the team’s attention to detail and their ability to keep us in the loop has us beyond excited for our big day. We just had our wedding at Fallbrook Estate this past Friday and are still in awe at how perfect it all was! From the moment we toured the venue one year ago with Mikayla, we knew we were making the right choice. The Fallbrook Wedgewood team made the wedding planning process such a breeze. We always felt very supported and they were quick to answer any questions and offer any advice leading up to our event. They are a dog friendly venue, which was super important to us when making our decision! We also had the pleasure of getting Mikayla as our day-of coordinator (full circle moment) and she was the absolute BEST! All the decor was set up exactly how we wanted it, and she helped keep us on schedule for the day. She was super sweet and even brought our dog, Delilah, a bowl of water before the ceremony :) DJ was our banquet captain and he was INCREDIBLE. He made sure that we had food and kept our drinks flowing all night, and was even kind enough to pack us a little bit of everything to take home! Another thing we are extremely happy with was how great the food was. Our guests are still raving about it, and everyone says it's some of the best wedding food they've ever had! We are so so grateful to Mikayla, DJ, and the entire Fallbrook team for making our big day so magical. Truly something we will cherish forever. We would highly recommend Fallbrook Estate and the Wedgewood team to anyone - you won't regret it!

We had the best time at the Cuvier Club. We really wanted a place that was all inclusive and that's what Cuvier was. The day of coordinator, Amanda, made our day amazing. Everything felt very smooth and she put us at ease for anything we felt stressed about. The food was also incredible and worked with us on our allergies as my husband has a lot, but he was able to eat a full meal that totally catered to him. The venue is gorgeous and has a lot of different add on's to really customize the day to what you would like. Definitely can recommend the photo booth. Our guests loved it!

We loved having our wedding at the La Jolla Woman's Club. The venue was very prompt and easy to communicate with during the planning process, which helped make things stress-free. The space itself is clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained - perfect for both our ceremony and reception. A highlight was using their grand piano on stage during our mother daughter dance. It was a special moment. They also made the rental process smooth by offering most items directly through their preferred vendor. Our venue was absolutely gorgeous and exactly how we hoped and envisioned it would be for our special evening. The partitions were a game changer and definitely an extra special touch. Our guests had a plethora of compliments about all the different facets and how well every inch is utilized within the space. Also, all of the staff was amazing, from the start of our tour to the breakdown at the end of the wedding. The bartenders were especially awesome. We are also so happy we went with the wedding coordinator through the venue, Jillian. She was very friendly but still professional. She kept the night in a good flow and executed the transitions excellently considering ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in essentially the same space and she had 100 people to work around. She also made sure to check on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was good for us and if we needed anything. Overall, our experience was amazing, the venue was stunning and the evening was everything we dreamed of. So incredibly happy with our choice and highly recommend using Flora for any event, not just a wedding.

I want to thank the staff and owner of Venue808. My husband and I recently had our wedding at this venue and first the place is amazing, it truly is a hidden gem. I cannot stop raving about this venue and the whole event planning team. We had such an amazing experience having out wedding at the Horton Grand Hotel, it makes me want to do it all over again. The venue itself is beautiful and provides a perfect romantic setting for an outdoor wedding. Planning a wedding this year during COVID was nothing short of difficult but Jennifer and the whole event planning staff were so helpful and understanding throughout the whole planning process and really made planning this wedding and keeping our original date so easy. Jennifer constantly kept us updated on the current status of the hotel and was amazing at relaying information related to closures and events to us. She was knowledgeable about the restrictions and helped us plan for a day that was not only perfect in every way but also provided safety to our guests. It was a pleasure having our wedding at such a beautiful location and we were so pleased with how it all turned out and the responsiveness of the staff. There were a number of last minute challenges that made our planning stressful, it was worth every stress and the staff at the Horton Grand Hotel helped us through every set back allowing us to fully enjoy our day. This venue was one of TWO venues that fiancee and I even considered. Not only are they an affordable event space, their staff is just absolutely incredible. They space itself is PERFECT for those who want a lower light, romantic setting with a rustic feel. Wine barrels galore! And the open floor plan really helps with making the space your own for a little bit. It was really easy to map out everything you needed for the day. The BEST part was this venue has indoor/outdoor space. Perfect for those who want to stay warm, while also perfect for those who needed to get some fresh air. This is a major selling point if you plan on getting married in SD since this venue is close to the water. Personable hosts, very professional. They offered glasses of wine to us every time we did a site visit. Extremely communicative and flexible to work with your schedule if need be. Marlene was our wedding coordinator and she really did everything she could to make our day so special. She knows what it's like when they say, "Treat your guests like family"... She made you feel right at home! She will do everything within her power to make you feel at ease. There was not one time I felt concerned. Our bartender, Bryan, was the SWEETEST! He would make your drink and just talk with you like he knew you already. Our guests absolutely loved him. Even if you're not planning a wedding, I would recommend this spot to friends and family for other types of events, for sure. Such a classy establishment with the FRIENDLIEST people.

After touring several venues, we ended up choosing the very first one we saw—The Lane—and it was absolutely the right call. The venue gave our wedding the exact look and feel we had hoped for: modern, clean, coastal, and elevated without ever feeling formal or stuffy. From the start, we were drawn to The Lane’s gorgeous indoor/outdoor layout, its location close to the airport (super convenient for guests!), extended rental hours (12p–12a), and the fact that tables and chairs were included in the price—all at a very reasonable rate. Another huge plus: its direct connection to multiple hotels, which made setting up room blocks a breeze and took transportation logistics off our plate entirely. That peace of mind was invaluable. Our ceremony took place on the balcony overlooking the water, which gave our guests such a quintessential San Diego experience. Cocktail hour followed at the opposite end of the balcony, keeping the ocean views going as the sun began to set. The reception had a beautiful indoor/outdoor experience—some guests danced the night away while others enjoyed chatting on the balcony. Watching the sunset light up the room during dinner was one of the most memorable moments of the night. With 150 guests, the space felt just right—roomy without feeling too big. The small bridal suite was also a great spot for our wedding party and family to gather before and after the ceremony, and we got some sweet photos in there too. Every step of the day ran smoothly. All of our vendors had no trouble working with The Lane’s team and layout—it was seamless from start to finish. We’re so grateful we found this gem of a venue. If you're looking for something that’s stylish yet relaxed, and offers a true San Diego experience, The Lane is it!

We hosted our daughter’s wedding last weekend. The venue is literally the perfect setting for a wedding and we received exuberant praise all evening for how beautifully magical everything was. I believe that our event was their largest to date (240), which meant that we had to split the ceremony and reception between the lower and upper gardens. Initially, we were concerned about having to make our guests trek from bottom to the top gardens (or take the provided shuttle), but this provided the guests with a charming walk through the gardens to gain an added element of beauty to the night. Marina, the event lead, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Having a different starting location from the ending can be tricky (especially with a lesser know entry way), but the detailed instructions and maps that Marina provided proved to be extremely helpful in guiding everyone.

We had our wedding anniversary at the Prado and it was the dream celebration I wished I'd had for our wedding! FIrst off, the options we were offered for food choices was over the top. Everyone was so accomodating helping us with things. The day of, I felt like a Queen! I never lifted a finger- the staff always made sure I had a drink in my hand, and each time I got up from my chair, I came back to a seat with fresh a fresh napkin. The wait staff is so professional- they are there but not in your face. Everything we needed or wanted was handled for us. We have an event company, so have many contacts in the industry, and we chose to have our big party at the Prado because we knew we would be taken care of. We were not let down!

We loved having our wedding reception at the museum! It was a unique venue, bright, and spacious. It’s an experience we (and our guests) still talk about almost 6 years later. It was a stress free wedding as Jenny (venue coordinator) was so easy to work with and very helpful in coordinating with all of our vendors and day of wedding coordinator. The museum has an approved list of vendors, and made suggestions that made the night even more special (like keeping the dinosaur skeleton out during the reception!) The cocktail hour was held on the second level, and the guests were able to walk through the exhibits. The reception was on the first level which was spacious.
