My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at Seven Ponds Farm, and despite some unexpected rain, it was truly the best day ever! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning beauty of the venue. The mountains, the ponds, the charming farm (and adorable goats)—it was all picture perfect. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the gorgeous setting. And even when the weather threatened to dampen our plans, the incredible team at Seven Ponds Farm had a backup plan to save the day. They seamlessly flipped our ceremony and cocktail hour so we could still get those breathtaking mountain views during our ceremony. They even brought delicious snacks and drinks from the cocktail hour to our bridal suite so we wouldn't miss out on any of the fun. We opted to have our rehearsal dinner at the venue as well as the reception, and we were not disappointed. We got many compliments on the food, and especially the fish tacos, which we didn't try during the tasting dinner, so we were pleasantly surprised! All around, everything was delicious. We also stayed at the venue from Thursday to Sunday, which definitely made the whole experience feel even more special, as it truly did feel like home while we were there. Olivia and Edvard were absolutely amazing. They were so professional, accommodating, and truly helped us every step of the way. When the power went out in the main house while we were getting ready, they were right there to help us get it back on. Their calm demeanor and quick thinking really put us at ease. We can't recommend Seven Ponds Farm enough. It's a beautiful place with an exceptional team who will make sure every detail of your wedding day is well thought out. If you're looking for a venue that's both stunning and has incredible service, look no further!

When I asked my photographer if there was anything I should know about working with Mountain Top Resort, she said, “Oh, you’ve struck gold with them.” At the time, I thought it was just vendors being kind to one another. Now, I know that we really did strike gold. From start to finish, Mountain Top Resort wanted to accommodate us. Before touring, I asked if their catering team would be open to an all-vegetarian wedding. They confirmed that it wouldn’t be a problem and even welcomed us to add additional meal options to their list so that we could incorporate our favorite meals into our day. The team was excited to take on a new task to help make the event feel like us. Leading up to the big day, email correspondence was quick and helpful. We asked a ton of questions, and we were never made to feel like a burden. In the 2 weeks leading up to our wedding, our coordinator Zoey let us know that our day-of coordinator would be Elizabeth. We were both a little nervous to switch from one coordinator to another, but it’s clear the team is just that: a team. Elizabeth picked up all the details and connected with us to make sure she had our vision clear in her mind. Right from the start of the ceremony rehearsal, it was clear she’d studied our choices! She cared about the details, and made sure our day was full of fun, joy, and support. When we forgot to bring our printed thank-you speech to reception, she said, “No problem, email it to me and I’ll print it right now.” When we weren’t able to finish our dinners, she packaged them up and sent them along to the house we were staying at. Elizabeth supported us without ever being overbearing. We both knew that the whole day was handled without us needing to worry about a thing, so we could focus on each other and our guests. We are so grateful we got to have you coordinate our wedding! Thank you, Elizabeth! Photo credits: Idena Beach (@idenabeachphotography) & Gabby Coughenour (@winding.roads.photography)

I don't think there's a word in the English language that can express how perfect our wedding day was. Let me start from the very beginning: After many days of visiting venues, and sorting through reviews, we found our favorite, Hiland Park. Dan who runs the wedding services met us, showed us around, and introduced us to the Hiland Park brand and it was everything we wanted and more. As soon as you drove your car onto the grounds, you knew it was a top-notch place. The landscaping was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The renovations (aka the entire place) were modern with an elegant flair, yet little touches of history were scattered throughout the property, especially in the bar and cocktail hour area. We wanted a wedding with great food (not mediocre by any means) and Hiland blew us away with the selection. We picked a plethora of foods for the cocktail hour and curated our dinner menu with ease. Hiland Park ensured our guests would be well *hydrated* by only offering a top-shelf bar (liquor, wine, and beer) for the entire reception and cocktail hour. You aren't suffering from lower-tiered alcohol packages, there is one and only one. Easy choice! Our attendees (and my wife and I) are still raving about the food. The staff, as they deserve their own paragraph. Holy Toledo, we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. Every detail of the day was spot on and their attentiveness to ensure it was perfect and never faltered. Everyone had a smile on their face. Dan really takes care of his employees, and they really take care of the business. We haven't seen this type of service in all of our life. They were a major reason our day was so successful. The kitchen staff and chefs blew our already high expectations out of the water with some of the best food that ever grazed our palates. The bartenders were speedy, and aces at what they did. The servers and bride/groom attendants were some of the kindest people in the world, and they took their jobs very seriously. With a wedding of 180 guests, they served everyone a piping hot dinner in 10 minutes...unheard of. Our photos came out perfectly. The scenery was stunning! We wanted an indoor/outdoor vibe, and Hiland had this wonderful patio with heaters, a fire pit, a gazebo, etc. so our guests could choose to be indoors or out. At the base of the Adirondack mountains, the views were a perfect backdrop to our pictures. If you're still deciding on a venue, look no further. We wish we could relive this day over and over again. Dear Hiland, thank you for making our wedding day the best ever. We won't ever forget it!!

Where do we even start? We just returned from our honeymoon and are still reveling in the most magical wedding weekend we could have ever had. It’s all thanks to Meesha at The Wilburton Inn. From the moment we came for our initial tour, Meesha was all you could want out of a wedding planner, as well as a friend who is thoughtful, kind, smart, and more than a joy to be around. She helped with every single aspect of our planning, and we trusted here word entirely — we couldn’t have been more happy with working with her! As to the venue, there is simply no better place to have a wedding. For context, my husband and I have big families. A lot of our family members were coming in from out of town and out of the country, so our priority was to have a wedding weekend where people could be together for more than one night. This is exactly what we got with the Wilburton. Our guests were able to play tennis, go hiking, go swimming, explore Manchester and, most of all, be together in the days leading up to the actual wedding. We reserved almost all of the houses on the property for guests to stay in, which created a laidback atmosphere as most people didn’t have to worry about driving back and forth or leaving at any point. As for the wedding night, it was pure magic. The food was perfect, the service was perfect, the weather (luckily) was also perfect, which was just the cherry on top. You cannot beat the people, the venue, and THE VIEWS!!! We wish we could do it all over again, but we are looking forward to visiting The Wilburton again for many, many years to come.

We feel so lucky to have found the West Mountain Inn for our wedding. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. Our wedding weekend at FLC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZQxgrn833c | Getting married at Forest Lake Camp was the best decision we've ever made! We wanted to get married in the mountains, but still have a full wedding reception with our friends and family and a rocking band (The New York Players). FLC gave us the ability to have it all -- and over an entire weekend! We kicked off our wedding weekend with a relay race down at the lake (highly recommend this as an ice breaker! Our guests were all friendly by the time we made it to the Friday BBQ.) Chapel View was absolutely stunning for our ceremony site and the dining hall looked beautiful for dinner. We rented a tent for the band and dance floor on the patio and had the time of our lives dancing and celebrating all night. The afterparty location at the dance pavilion was perfect as well. We brought in a wood fired pizza truck (Orapello's) that kept everyone fed and happy until the late, late hours of the night. It's the absolute perfect spot for an outdoorsy couple with friends and family that are ready to embrace the adventure of a rustic setting and nontraditional venue. We loved it all. Also, Carlos is a superhero -- I don't think that man slept a wink our entire weekend. We are so grateful for the whole staff & can't wait to return for alumni weekend for years to come!

Overall, I would highly recommend choosing the Red Clover Inn as your wedding venue. I have included some criticism to take into consideration, but in the end would not have changed my decision to have our wedding there. I have so much more to say, but am limited by the characters limit. THE GOOD PART The wedding weekend was the wedding of our dreams. Our guests were welcomed with open arms by the staff who worked incredibly hard. There were fresh flowers for our VIPs and all throughout the inn as a special touch and they truly went above and beyond to make our family and friends comfortable. We had planned a welcome barbeque that I thought would be very casual, but the staff really elevated it with their décor and attention through the evening. We got to enjoy the outdoor space under the stunning apple tree for our evening and the team put on a bonfire with s'mores for us. The bridal suite is my favorite room of them all. Bright, comfortable, and beautiful. We fit my group of 6 and a beauty team of 4. The day of the wedding was heavy rain all day long. We did have a rain plan in place and moved everything into the barn. The barn is beautifully decorated with ethereal lighted trees and candles throughout. It was an excellent back-up plan. The staff stood outside with umbrellas for the entirety of the ceremony and I don’t know what we would have done without them. We then moved to the cocktail hour and reception which were held in the inn. It was STUNNING. The staff did all the decorating with the items we brought and their own pieces, and our special touches to personalize our wedding, we didn’t have to lift a finger the day of the wedding. I did provide a list of decorations and my expectations for placement to help move things along prior to the event. There was a room for everything. We had dinner in the tavern, and after the meal, the guests used the other rooms, or took a break to their rooms while the tavern was transformed to the dance floor. The flow of the evening was so natural, and I really feel like the venue catered to every guest’s need with a quiet sitting room, a dancing space, and a space in between. At the end of the night, there was no clean up for us, the staff took care of the necessary items that evening, and we picked up the rest of the venue after our guests left the next day. The on-site accommodations perfectly fit our guest count and were comfortable for everyone. We got to appreciate every inch of the Inn and I am so happy we chose it. THE CRITIQUE We visited the inn 3 times through planning, and each visit was very productive, with Venetia’s undivided attention to chat through logistics and details, but we would recommend better communication when guests are not visiting. I did feel like I had to visit to accomplish planning items. Promised follow-up was rarely followed through. I did have to push on this when it began to affect our vendors (ie. Table dimensions for our florist), and ultimately we got the information we needed. Contracted timelines were also not held to through the planning (ie. guest room reservations going out on time). And the final critique was unclear pricing on a few things like the bar, a kitchen usage fee, and catering costs. The Red Clover staff was always responsive to our escalation, but I wish it didn’t require that. I highly recommend if you choose this venue, requesting clear deadlines and pricing stated in the contract.

Went to a wedding here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The food was fantastic and the camp itself was so beautiful, ranging from the green fields to the incredible waterfront. The hosts set up a large tent and dance floor on the soccer field protecting us from the intermittent showers that day. The tent was lined with string lights and looked almost magical when the sun began to set. On Sunday morning we walked down to see the lake surrounded by mountains of trees. Loved this place!

We got married at Saratoga National Golf Club on April 12th, and it was truly the most incredible experience from start to finish. If you’re considering this venue—book it. You will be in the absolute best hands. Saratoga National partners with Mazzone Hospitality (or vice versa!), and their team is second to none. Our sales coordinator, Ellie, was a total gem. She was responsive, supportive, and never nickel-and-dimed us on small changes or additions. Planning from out of town can be stressful, but she made everything easy and even helped us find smart ways to cut costs without sacrificing the experience. The day before the wedding, our event manager, J’Leen, carefully set up all of our candles and décor exactly as we envisioned. She was professional, incredibly hardworking, and so thoughtful. I can’t say enough about what a great manager she is—she truly has everything down to a science. On the day of the wedding, the team executed everything flawlessly. They were kind to our guests, cleared plates quickly, and remained accessible throughout the event. After the celebration, they packed up all our items with care so we could easily pick them up the next morning. Now, let’s talk about the food—our guests are STILL raving about it! Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. As someone who works in Human Resources and plans corporate events multiple times a year, I’ve worked with many venues—and I can confidently say this team is the best I’ve ever encountered. If you’re comparing Saratoga National to other venues, let me save you the trouble: choose this one. You’ll be taken care of every step of the way. Thank you to the entire team for giving us a day that exceeded every expectation. We are beyond grateful!

Our whole family had a phenomenal experience at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT, all as part of our daughter’s wedding in early October 2024. From the day we first toured Riverside Farm in November of 2022, the gorgeous setting and friendly, deeply experienced team gave us a great feeling about RF that continued through to the wedding and to this day. From late 2022 onward, RF gave us excellent advice and support on every aspect of planning the wedding – the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, all of the wedding day festivities, the afterparty and the Sunday departure brunch. We did not have – and did not need – a separate wedding planner. Our RF coordinator, Kaycee Bushee, was a terrific resource throughout. First, she greeted every question or concern with the same calm, pleasant, and constructive approach – never “too busy” to listen carefully and help. Second, when the wedding arrived, Kaycee oversaw everything with a clear idea of what needed to happen and when, plus a gentle hand to move things along invisibly. Her very capable team members were all well-trained and on the same page. RF requires the use of a small group of core vendors, a practice we came to value immensely. RF works exclusively with Vermont Farms Catering, plus one transportation provider and another company that sets up each event. Far from limiting, we found it a great way to create alignment with these critical groups. They went above and beyond to make sure that RF’s clients (and RF itself) were thrilled. A special note on Vermont Farms Catering, owned/operated by Katie Stiles (our primary contact) and Chef Kevin Lasko (Katie’s husband). They are remarkable, having transitioned to Vermont from the intensive Manhattan restaurant scene. Over the years, VFC has established close relationships with all of the best farmers, ranchers and producers within a broad radius. We knew instantly – when we had a “test” tasting in early 2024 – that our guests would be extremely well-served. For help finding other vendors, Kaycee was always there with a range of recommendations and “color” on photographers, florists, linen providers, etc. She knows of, has color on, or has worked directly with most wedding-related vendors throughout Vermont and New England – many of whom have handled events at RF. Beyond these outstanding individuals at RF, Riverside Farm itself is extraordinary. Whether in full sun or any other conditions, Riverside Farm itself truly shines. It is a spectacular physical place – vast and yet intimate at the same time due to the open sightlines. It offers multiple separate venues that together could comfortably host a great wedding in any weather conditions. Plus, RF provides accommodations for the wedding party at RF, and for family/close friends at a lovely 15-room inn, Amee Farm Lodge, just a mile away and under common ownership with RF. As to issues or negatives, we truly didn’t have any. Nothing occurred that caused any level of frustration or concern. It was amazingly smooth given the number of guests (170) and the numerous events from mid-Friday through the departure brunch on Sunday. As noted, this was not by accident or just good luck. Kaycee and the RF team are outstanding both as to assisting in the planning and in the detailed, smooth and crisp execution of the final plan. As is clear from the above, our entire family wholeheartedly and without reservation recommends Riverside Farm for your family’s wedding.

It was so nice to spend a few minutes as a newly married couple before making our entrance to the reception. The food was amazing, and both the ceremony and reception spaces were decorated better than I could’ve imagined. The cake was done by Debbie Coye and part of our package - not only was it gorgeous but it was also delicious! The staff were all professional and made sure we had everything that we needed. The food was outstanding, and our guests are still raving. The people who work at The Hermitage Inn are so friendly and detail-oriented - we would choose this venue again in a heartbeat. In fact, all of our family and friends are still reaching out saying how much fun they had at our wedding and calling it the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The planner Gina is exceptional. Gina and her assistant were extremely responsive and knowledgeable throughout the entire planning process. Special shout out to our favorite bartender Amanda and server Kristen - we love you! Where to even begin! The farm road estate team was phenomenal!! Leading up to the wedding Taylor addressed our every question and was extremely detail oriented. She helped share best practices from other weddings on site but was always supportive when we had our own unique vision. Everyone who worked at Farm Road was friendly and helpful to our guests. They were also ready to shift as unexpected things popped up (like a sudden downpour) and this helped us to relax and fully enjoy the weekend. Our guests LOVED Farm Road Estate too. They raved about the beautiful and cozy rooms, the wood beams and architecture through the Great Room, the delicious food at every meal, and the lovely grounds. We were really happy to have picked a venue where our guests could stay onsite so people had more quality time together. We would definitely recommend Farm Road to any couple looking for a special wedding weekend in Vermont!
