Kristin’s Flowers

5.0

  • Serves Midvale, UT

I have always had a love for anything creative! Crafts, home decorating, flowers. anything that required taking the bits and pieces for putting together a finished design. As a young mother of 3 active kids these things were more a hobby than a profession. As my kids have grown and become less relient on me I started to think about my time and what I wanted to do with it. I started doing floral arrangements in 1996 for friends, family, dances for my kids and their friends. Special events, holidays, birthdays, weddings or a husband at the last minute who needs a bouquet for his wife or partner. I love anything to do with flowers!

Kristin was the most patient and kind florist! She really kept our budget in mind and even made last minute changes to our order when in the last week, we no longer needed one of the items we originally asked for. She’s responsive and her work is stunning!

Hey! I am London and have been creating blooms for almost 7 years. I love everything floral and I love how florals can elevate every space. Apollo, my almost one year old inspires me to work and create beautiful arrangements. I am very honored to be with you on your special day.

Super easy to communicate with and so ready to work with whatever changes you have come up. And her execution of my vision that I couldn’t even put into words was exactly what I was hoping for and more. I cannot say enough good things about Carissa. As a former bride, I know how stressful it is to compile a team of vendors for your dream wedding and how much of a hassle it can become as the wedding day gets closer. Every time I met with Carissa, she listened to my concerns and calmed me down, telling me everything I wanted was doable and always reminding me she was there for me. Throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding, she was so incredible and helped ease my mind. And on the wedding day, even more incredible. She was so on top of it and ensured that everything was just how we had talked about and how I envisioned it without coming to me and asking about it. She just knew! My flowers were incredible, and I know people will be talking about how gorgeous our wedding was for years to come. I cannot thank Carissa enough for her professionalism, kindness, and care. Hire Bouquet and Bloom for your wedding! You won't regret it!!

Bloom Culture: Do-it-Yourself Wedding Flowers was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first inquiry, their communication was prompt, kind, and professional. They answered all of my specific questions with personal responses, making the DIY flower process so easy and stress-free. The quality of their work was consistent, thorough, and truly showed how much they cared about making our day special. We saved so much money going the DIY route with Bloom Culture, and it allowed us to create so many wonderful memories putting the arrangements together with our wedding party. I highly recommend Bloom Culture to any couples looking for a reliable, affordable, and caring florist for their wedding. I wanted to do my own flowers to honor my grandmother who was a florist. She passed a few months before the wedding and I just know she would have absolutely loved it and we got to honor her in this way.

We are so happy with the way out flowers turned out for our wedding day. Paula and Samatha were such a joy to work with! We sent them our color pallet and ideas, which they were able to replicate and make it our own unique array of flowers. Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!

Events By Kelly's Florist

4.5

  • Starts at $7,500
  • Serves Midvale, UT for additional fees

Growing up on a tree farm, plants quickly became part of my life. Observing how they grow, getting excited by the seasonal changes, and foraging to create arrangements became my passion. I love weddings and celebrations and incorporating flowers and greenery and unexpected touches.

I'm still so in love with the florals Kelly created for our wedding! We wanted to focus on using seasonal, local florals (as much as possible for a November wedding) and Kelly totally got our vision. She was super easy and fun to work with. Using seasonal flowers, we didn't know what exactly what would end up being available, but we totally trusted Kelly—it was clear she put so much thought and love into her floral designs. The final product was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Thank you Kelly for everything!
