The Ruins at Sassafras Museum is the home of the former Shaker Second Family on Mount Lebanon. (See our reviews on Google.) We call ourselves a boutique museum because unlike other Shaker Museums that replicate the past, we have interpreted the past and creatively restored each location on the property. The Hudson Milliner Art Salon is a creative and collaborative space located in a historic 1860's building in the center of Hudson, NY. Conveniently located to the train station, this unique location is the perfect place to have an intimate event in upstate New York.

Vanderbilt Lakeside offers thoughtfully curated stays and events in a welcoming gathering space, with custom in-house food and bar packages. Charming, versatile, and ideal for group getaways, retreats, and celebrations of all sizes—from intimate dinner parties, to large scale gatherings and bespoke weddings. ​ The space itself is a newly redesigned, large (6000 SF) house. It was originally built in the 1800s. The outdoor areas can also be incorporated for your event--our deck and yard are completely open-air; you would be welcome to work with a third-party rental company to have a tent set up, if of interest. Including the outdoor areas, we have the following approximate Capacity for Events: *Seated Dinner with a Ceremony: 100 guests *Seated Dinner without a Ceremony (or with a ceremony that has fewer guests in attendance): 130 *Cocktail Party with or without a Ceremony: up to 150 guests

BridleWood is a New Venue, set in the midst of a working horse farm, in the beautiful rolling hills of Columbia County! Our newly renovated event barn, lit by wrought iron chandeliers and candle sconces, surrounded by horses in green pastures, creates a rustic-elegant oasis for a truly memorable occasion. Three large carriage doors allow for a covered yet sunlit space, where guests may mingle for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, or accommodate a formal sit down meal for up to 60. The polished floors double as a dance floor inviting guests to dance the night away beneath the warm glow of the chandeliers! Just beyond the carriage doors, our flat grass arena provides unlimited space for a large sail-cloth tent, with ample room for a caterer’s tent along side. Electrical hookups are provided for food service, sound, and additional lighting as needed. Serendipity Lake House is the perfect place to host your dream wedding. Have an outdoor tent celebration in an idyllic lake setting or a more intimate gathering in our rustic lodge. Weddings can be customized to celebrate each couple’s unique personality. Receptions of 80 people or under can be held inside the lodge. Receptions of more than 80 people will be held under a tent on our upper lawn only steps away from the lodge. The cocktail hour can be in the lodge with open doors to the deck so guests can enjoy the amazing lake views.
