Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. Artisan is a distillery and brewery where we make all our distilled spirits on site and brew our beer off site. All our alcohol is made by us and are original creations by our master distillery and our alchemists. All our cocktails are hand-crafted creations that will impress everyone. Artisan is located near the historic downtown area of San Antonio. The entire in-door space is around 3,000 sq. ft. The main bar area (1,500sq ft) is decorated very elegantly with crystal chandeliers and sofas, has a 20 ft bar and can seat 40 people, but can hold comfortably 60 people. We have a second inside space, our Lounge, that can seat 50 people at dining tables and has an 8ft x 16ft stage. In addition to our inside space, we have a large 3,500 sq ft patio that that is 60% covered, is casual and tropical with many plants, has another 8ft x 16ft stage and seats 150 people.
