This experience and my passion for music has helped me evolve into one of the most skilled spinners around. DJ Náná was born in Cape Verde in the early 80s and migrated to the area in the late 90s. Náná started his DJ career in 1995, when he started performing for friends and family at parties and events.

My philosophy for music is, "You bring the dancers and I'll bring the music".  I'll take your requests and my years of experience and turn your wedding into something your guests will never forget.  In order to play the right song at the right time, it's all about observation and knowing your crowd.  As I am selecting and mixing songs, I am attentive to everyone's reaction. Luke’s originally started as a Record Store by the name Luke’s Record Exchange, started by Luke T Renchan. As years progressed, Luke T decided to start a Disc Jockey Company in 1983. This was an instant success. Before long, Luke T had eight employees doing events for him. Many years passed and his son Luke B showed an interest in what his father was doing. At the age of 9, Luke B would accompany his father and observing every move he made. Gradually he was allowed to make steps till he was able to do his own events.
