Tess is an unbelievable florist and artist. She completely executed my vision for our wedding day and went above and beyond my expectations! She was extremely thorough to work with, making sure she knew exactly what I wanted in terms of style she worked on so many different floral versions for me throughout the planning process until we got to the one we thought was best for the space. Our arbor was absolutely incredible, way beyond what I imagined it would be. My bouquet tied in every aspect I had talked about with her and even more! I truly cannot suggest Tess enough, hire her!!

Petals Flower Farm is a small flower farm that grows, harvests, and curates flowers for you. Our passion for growing flowers is why we love showing off these blooms on your special day. Every element, from the soil, the sun, and the tender loving care, is where your flowers begin. Our team has been digging in the dirt and playing with flowers since they were girls. Our designers know the seasons and the flowers and can complement each piece uniquely. Our 'fresh from the garden' floral designs will complement your day perfectly.

Petals did the flowers for our wedding party and we couldn't be more pleased with how beautiful they were. Lyndsay was easy to communicate with, so friendly, and of course, put together the perfect bouquets based on the color palette I gave her. Prices were incredibly fair - highly recommend!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

    4.9

    • Starts at $350
    • Serves Portland, ME

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
Flower Moxie completely exceeded my expectations in every way! I ordered their pastels package for my wedding and was blown away by how stunning the flowers were. The blooms were fresh, vibrant, and even more beautiful than I imagined—truly some of the healthiest flowers I’ve ever seen. I was initially curious (and a little nervous) about how the process would work, since I’d never used a service like this before. But from the very beginning, Maria and the Flower Moxie team were incredibly kind, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond. Maria walked me through every step with warmth and thoughtfulness, and made everything feel so easy and stress-free. They really knocked it out of the park. The flowers added so much magic to our day. I used them for our welcome sign, cake, bud vases, and to transform a faux white-and-green arch and floral meadow by adding real, colorful blooms—and the final result was breathtaking. So many guests complimented how beautiful everything looked. I cannot recommend Flower Moxie enough. They’re not just a flower company—they’re a dream team that helps make your vision come to life!

    The Faux Bouquets

    5.0

    • Starts at $175
    • Serves Portland, ME

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

    Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets were great at communicating throughout the entire process! They provided amazing, lifelike floral arrangements that were beautiful in our wedding photos. This was such an easy and convenient service - we simply received the pre-made package, used them for our special day, then packaged them back up to send off. We were thrilled with the quality and value of their work, which truly contributed to making our wedding day perfect.

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

Danielle was an absolute pleasure to work with! She took our very rough ideas and transformed them into the most gorgeous arrangements that added bright colors and textures to our day. Throughout the process, Danielle was a professional and timely communicator, worked within our budget, and was flexible with changing/adding items to our floral plan as our wedding vision solidified. Blue Dahlia Wooden Florals, LLC

    5.0

    • Serves Portland, ME

My business started when I was planning my own wedding. I love flowers, but we couldn't justify spending hundreds or thousands on real flowers to throw them away in a week when we also found out we were expecting our first child at the same time. In came wood flowers! After much practice, I discovered I have an eye for colors and floral design and now 4 years and MANY weddings and THOUSANDS of home decor pieces later, this is not only my passion but it is also my full time business. No side hustle here! You will have my undivided attention. I'll make sure your floral dreams come to life in wood and the best part, they LAST FOREVER!

    Awarded Best of Zola
Katie was an absolute pleasure to work with. I decided I wanted wood flowers for my wedding, and when searching for a local artist, I gravitated toward Katie's designs. I found a local bridal show so I could see her work in person, and I made the decision to work with her as soon as I saw her table of flowers from across the room! It was a one-stop-shop! She did it all: my bridal bouquet, Bridesmaid & Jr. Bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and flowers for our wedding cake. The planning process went well. She was able to take a swatch of my bridesmaid's dresses, and matched the color perfectly. She took some suggestions on the types of flowers I wanted to include in my wedding package and then used her creative genius to create stunning bouquets. They came out EXACTLY as I had envisioned! Our guests who knew I wanted wood flowers were shocked that they were so soft and realistic looking. The airbrushed roses on our cake looked so real! The little details like the pearl bracelets on the corsages, and the satin wrapped stems on the bridesmaid bouquets made everything look elegant and polished. I highly recommend Blue Dahlia Designs if you are thinking about using wood flowers in your wedding. I planned my wedding during the pandemic, and we had many challenges. Katie was so wonderful to work with and I am so happy with my flowers. I am STILL enjoying them, and we just celebrated our first anniversary.

    Nectar & Vessel

    5.0

    • Starts at $6,500
    • Serves Portland, ME

At Nectar & Vessel our ethos is sustainability + bliss-forward designs. We specialize in arrangements that are full of texture, unique and lush. We crave the weirdo flowers, the heirloom varieties and mixing in contrasting natural elements. We don't try to be on-trend, rather we are intuitive with the flower and our clients and let the flower speak to us.

    Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel was truly an incredible experience. Aside from the marriage itself and celebrating with our loved ones, the floral design was the part of wedding-planning I was most excited about, so finding the right team to make it all happen was really important to me. From our first meeting, it was obvious how warm, talented, creative, professional, and enthusiastic Naomi is - she is so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, and it really shows in her work. Naomi and her team went above and beyond to distill all of my ideas and wishes into a final cohesive vision that was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Everything Naomi and her team created was stunningly executed - from the bouquets, boutonnieres, and the gorgeous chuppah at our ceremony, to the lush arrangements, centerpieces, and hanging greenery at the cocktail hour and reception, to the magical floral clouds that hung over our dance floor. Many guests told me that these were the most beautiful floral designs that they had seen at any wedding they’ve ever been to - I’m still receiving compliments about them months later. We especially appreciated Naomi’s attention to detail (she and her team made little bouquets for guests to take home at the end of the evening that everyone loved), and how conscientious she is about sustainability (she uses reusable vessels for everything and doesn’t use disposable foam products - something that can be hard to come by in the floral industry). Writing this review was challenging because it’s so difficult to find the words to properly convey how beautiful everything was and how grateful we are for Naomi and her team’s work! We wholeheartedly recommend Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel to anyone looking for floral design for their wedding or event, and we are so thankful to have had them by our sides on our special day.

Every bride dreams of her perfect wedding. For me, having a beautiful and unique bridal bouquet was something very important to me in making this dream a reality. I had no idea what sort of flowers to choose, but showed Tracy my vision and my color scheme and she created magic. The florals in my bouquet were one of a kind, gorgeous, perfect for the fall season, and very, very fresh. Tracy transferred all the flowers for myself, my bridesmaids, groomsmen, and parents safety and remained extremely fresh. Tracy is truly a floral artist with exquisite taste and outstanding talent. Her attention to detail was demonstrated throughout each flower arrangement. A specific aspect that comes to mind is that she placed fresh rosemary into my husbands boutonnière to represent his parents catering business. It was a special surprise on our big day. I made sure everyone knew where the flowers were from and felt proud to know they came from Tracy. If anyone is in need of flowers of any kind they shouldn’t hesitate to book Tracy at Midsummer Flowers.

    For Keeps Floral

    4.5

    • Starts at $500
    • Serves Portland, ME

I’ve always had a love for flowers and a passion for creating beautiful things! My love for flowers and weddings started eary, long before I ever held a bouquet of my own. I grew up watching my grandmother work in the floral and wedding industry, and some of my earliest memories are of modeling flower girl dresses at bridal shows, wide-eyed at the beauty and joy all around me. Those experiences left a lasting impression, and it's no surprise that I eventually found my way back to this world, creating floral designs that bring happiness and meaning to others.

For Keeps Floral was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. They were always responsive and communicated with us at each step of the process. Laci was so nice, friendly and helpful in bringing our "Rustic Patriotic" theme to life with their beautiful floral arrangements. The flowers were less expensive than real flowers but looked just as stunning, and they were photographed beautifully. The little care cards and stickers they included for our bridal party were such a thoughtful touch. We couldn't have been happier with the quality and value of For Keeps Floral's work - they truly nailed our theme. We highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

Our team of creative floral designers work closely with the me and the couple to create your floral concept and overall vision.

can’t recommend Flowers by Hoboken enough for all your flower needs. I got married in August 2024 in Bar Harbor, ME and choosing Flowers by Hoboken was one of the easiest decisions. Lisa made the process so easy and enjoyable. She looked at my inspiration through Pinterest, Instagram, and her own previous clients and put together a unique and beautifully thought out proposal. I ended up adding more flowers last minute and Lisa made it very easy to do so. She also sourced a lot of our flowers locally which was really special. Our flowers were better than we could have ever imagined. It was such a pleasure working with Lisa and her team for our wedding flowers and I would recommend them over and over again. Working with Lorinda and her team was an absolute DREAM. My husband and I got married at Belle Mer in Newport in September and I knew I wanted beautiful and colorful arrangements - something that would really pop and would be so dreamy and different. Cue Lorinda! I cannot speak highly enough about her incredible work. From the first consultation to the final bouquet, everything was absolutely perfect. She took the time to understand our vision, offered helpful suggestions, worked within our budget and brought our floral dreams to life in the most beautiful way. The flowers were stunning — elegant, fresh, and beautifully arranged. The bouquets were exactly what I envisioned, and the arrangements at the venue were simply breathtaking. It was clear that she put so much thought and care into every detail, and it truly made our special day feel even more magical. We also did our tablescapes through her using her candles, vases, etc. All worth it! Not only were the flowers gorgeous, but the level of professionalism and attention to detail was unmatched. We received countless compliments from our guests about the flowers! Thank you Lorinda, for truly bringing our vision to life. We couldn't have done it without you!
