Opal 28 is an intimate space, an extension of your living room with a vintage & elegant ambiance. The 2,600 square foot space includes two great rooms, a built-in bar, private outdoor patio and bridal suite accommodations above the venue. The building was originally built in 1908 is conveniently located in inner NE Portland.

Elevate your event at the restored classic The Melody Event Center located in Central Eastside Portland. Built in 1925 and renovated in 2018 The Melody Event Center offers five distinct event spaces, accommodating up to 1,000 guests and offers flexible floor plans for every occasion. The elegant Melody Ballroom is nearly 6,000 square feet, welcoming up to 400 seated guest or up to 800 standing. The Melody Ballroom stands as our crown jewel with 30 foot high ceiling trimmed in gold, crystal chandeliers and a beautiful hardwood floor. We offer four additional spaces; The Morrison, Hawthorne, Portlandia and Broadway perfect for smaller events and meetings. Each room features this historic buildings original large scale windows displaying beautiful natural light. Located downtown at SW 12th and Morrison St. mere blocks from the hotels your guests are staying at or the location of the reception. 2)Open late, later than the hotel bar or the hotel lobby/hallway guests tend to gather in after the reception. We’ll be able to accommodate guests until 2:30AM. 3)Unassuming. Guests who have been in heels, dresses, ties, and make-up to look perfect all day want to let their hair down. City Bridge & Tunnel has no dress code, no line to get in, and no Instagram competition. We’re a clean industrial bar with a fun crew and plenty of space for wedding guests to dance, let down their hair, and be as loud as they want. 4)Fun.
