Initially I intended to plan all of my wedding on my own - and in many ways I did. We were married at the Customs House in Portland, a venue that is a blankslate venue. As I neared the day however, I began to worry that there were aspects of the planning that I overlooked. I hired The Cosmos at their Month-of package level taking all of that worry out of the process. They took care of all of the things I did miss - called out that there was no plan for trash receptacles, revised the number of glasses rented, added bathroom attendants, adjusted the number of staff etc, but an unexpected element (and maybe the most important) is that they helped me to manage difficult family members. They figured out that this is where a lot of my stress was coming from. I was so grateful to their team for minimizing overall stress. I highly recommend!

At first, I was skeptical of hiring a day of coordinator as I am very organized and was pretty comfortable planning our day on my own. My main reason for hiring a day of coordinator was to not have to worry, to have someone who will help set-up things the way I would, and someone who I can count on to have all the answers for everyone else. Ayden went above and beyond. She is so calm and put together, she helped me more than I can put into words! We had a large wedding of 160 people with a good amount of intricate details. We also had rain that caused our entire ceremony to be switched a few hours before the start time. Ayden handled everything seamlessly. I seriously could not recommend her enough. She made sure my husband and I got wedding cake and extra dessert brought to our room with water for us at the end of the night. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable but encourages you to give your opinions and speak up. I also appreciated that Ayden had to make some executive decisions on her own like moving our LED sign where there wasn't a plug how I originally wanted it, she didn't stress me out with this question, she just handled it and made everything look amazing. I could not recommend her enough, we were so lucky to work with Ayden. I wish we could relive our wedding all over again with Ayden's help!

I cannot recommend Cassie highly enough. She is a great communicator, and so on top of timelines/coordination that I really did not feel like the wedding planning process was stressful (which I feel is a rarity). She also was as able to translate my ascetic into reality so well, even when I had a hard time articulating it myself. For example, I told her “lighting” was important to me and she worked with a vendor to create the most stunning centerpiece, everyone complimented it (picture attached). I also deeply appreciated that she worked to understand our budget, respect it, and work to achieve our goals within it. We had several calls to discuss budget, check progress, and plan accordingly. Lastly, as a day of coordinator, she made the day run seamlessly. I feel like I was able to really enjoy myself the day of, because I trusted Cassie, and she anticipated issues before they even arose. My sister and I both used Cassie to plan our Maine weddings and were so incredibly pleased with how our days turned out. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, I HIGHLY recommend olive and co!

My husband and I hired Madison as our day of coordinator. We did not hire a florist and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects for our wedding decor. We really wanted a professional to help us with setup and take-down of decor on the wedding day, so as not to burden our family/friends and take them away from the event to help. Madison was so friendly in the months leading up to the wedding and offered us lots of helpful advice on things we didn't even think to prepare for, like arranging seating charts and timing of processional songs. Our original venue coordinator ended up having to move away just a couple weeks before our wedding day, and Madison took the lead in syncing with the new venue coordinator on all the things we'd talked about. This really helped us out and took a load off our plate in those last few weeks before the wedding! The day of, she came early to the venue and, like a fairy godmother, had incorporated all of our decorations beautifully before we even arrived, so we were able to take lots of photos beforehand! Throughout the event, she cleverly found ways to repurpose some of our decor items to give them a second life, like setting reception flower arrangements along the room's bookshelves to dress them up for the ceremony, making a beautiful display with our ceremony roses and boutonnieres on our memory table, and using me and my bridesmaids' bouquets to create a beautiful sweetheart table arrangement! We were so incredibly thrilled with how well Madison and her team were able to follow our vision and exceed our expectations. A final sweet memory I have from near the end of the night - my hair was getting very tangled with my dress buttons on my back from dancing, and I was overheating and sweaty. Madison and her team arranged my hair into a beautiful low bun style so I could go back and have fun dancing again without worrying about it tangling further or looking bad. :) I'm so thankful we hired Madison as our day of coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough!!

Corinne and Molly made our day so seamless to the point where my husband and I could focus on us and our guests. From our first meeting to the day, they worked through hiccups with vendors that we would have missed and gave us amazing recommendations to make our wedding day perfect. We came ready and prepared with all of our vendors, and they stitched up the final communications for the wedding and made it so seamless, even finding another vendor for napkins 2 hours before the day started because ours forgot them! Not only are they amazing coordinators, but they're amazing people. She is thorough and organized - creating seamless timelines and checklists to ensure everything was done and went smoothly on my big day. Lauren effectively handled communication with each of my vendors, and even went wedding dress shopping with me! She is kind, smart, laid back, and truly fun to be around. I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. For example, one of my vendors insisted an additional hour of rental time needed to be added to the wedding day (that would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and Cassie advocated for me, citing their contract, that it was not necessary. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. Marissa truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and her passion for her work is apparent from start to finish. My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

I thought I (ALL CAPS THERE!) was a perfectionist until I met Allie LeBon. If you're thinking "is this worth it?" or "do I really need a planner?" or even, "I can do this all myself." ...you maaaybe can, but if you want your day to be utterly spectacular - hire Allie. I can't stress enough the importance of hiring someone like her. Our entire day was magic because of her and her CityLux team. We started out our journey with a clear goal, but it all felt a bit daunting. Allie was with us from start to finish (top to bottom planning and day-of!) and made every step along the way incredible. She was prompt, professional, honest, and kind. It's hard to find vendors that are as "on their game." There were times that we were completely at a loss for what was next and she always communicated with clarity so we felt comfortable and prepared to make decisions. There were sooooo many details only she could have thought of. Just when you think you have it figured out, there are 3 more things Allie was thinking of. I constantly said, "oh wow.. I didnt even think of that." Like coordinating bus routes and timing that out... no thank you! We felt like it was all under control because of her meticulous documentation, flawless communication with our other vendors, and emergency plans she put in motion behind the scenes. MOST importantly, she makes sure you can focus on your day and nothing else. From the napkins, to the placecards, to our grass wall, to our place settings, to the drink signs, and everything else in between, it was all so complete and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Not to mention, she professionally vetoed some of our ideas, and finding someone who knows what's realistic and what's not is hard to find. I've recommended her to ALL my friends and every time I get rave reviews. Don't go it alone throughout this process. Go with Allie and go with CityLux! PS: The picture you see with our reaction was exactly the moment we saw our vision come to life at the reception. Speechless.

We offer a full line of top quality tents, tables, farm tables, chairs, dance floors, lighting, place settings, linens, catering equipment and more.

We used Showcase Events Rentals for our wedding on 9-22-23. Our experience was great; their selection of rentals was vast their prices were fair consistent in comparison to other local rental companies. We found that Showcase had the best looking best priced farm tables, which fit out aesthetic perfectly. We specifically chose Showcase because they came highly recommended by our venue for their quality, set up clean up services, month-of coordinator, Sheena. 10/10 recommend. We were very excited to utilize their month-of coordinating services. To no fault of her own, we didn’t really utilize Sheena’s coordinating help too much the actual month-of (we had pretty much everything ready to go a few months in advance we took care of final communications with vendors ahead of time), so I can’t speak to her level of involvement in that sense. However, Sheena was very responsive to our emails from the time we booked our rentals (9 months in advance) she was very helpful with coordinating the rehearsal, setting up the venue the morning of, helping facilitate the smoothest, most stress-free day possible. She was super prepared during our check-in phone call, and we were confident in her ability to handle anything that came up so that we wouldn’t have to! She even purchased several cases of High Noons for us DURING our reception when we unexpectedly ran out! She was fantastic. Sheena worked with 2 other coordinators that day, Kim Kat. Kat was a HUGE help at the start of the ceremony – she helped hold my dress’s train keep me hidden from the guests during the bridal party processional. She has a very calming presence talked me through each moment leading up to my entrance, pointing out my *now* husband escorting his mom down the aisle, pointing out my dad, reassuring me that all those jitters I was feeling in that moment would soon go away the moment I saw my husband at the end of the aisle. She was so right, it was very special to be able to share those moments with someone as sweet as her.
