We had our perfect wedding day at Union Lake Orchard in September. I cannot say enough about this beautiful venue and the amazing owners! The barn was absolutely beautiful, the orchards and flowers in bloom were incredible. Guests raved about the venue and how rustic and timeless it is. We were able to do our ceremony out in the orchard followed by our reception in the barn. Karen and Kyle made our wedding planning experience so much easier than I imagined. Karen was very flexible, offering us to come by the barn multiple times to get ideas on how we would like to set up our decor, where we would like tables placed, etc. I must have texted Karen 50 questions throughout the planning process and she always responded in a kind and timely manner. Kyle helped so much with setting up and cleaning up. During set up, the arch I brought fell and broke and Kyle offered us an arch they had at the venue which was even more perfect than our original one! Karen helped to direct traffic and had guests move their vehicles to a different location so they were not in our wedding photos. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for us! We truly had the most amazing day and I constantly get comments from guests about the amazing vibes, beautiful pictures and what a great time they had! Thank you for making wedding planning so much less stressful!

Stage House Inn is a stately and elegant wedding venue. The property offers 20 unique guest rooms, private function spaces, and Dufour, an on-site award-winning restaurant and bar. From a private residence, it soon became a stagecoach stop where visitors would stop to eat and lodge at Frost Tavern. Following that, it was Paul’s Hotel, and eventually also served as a boarding house. Then, for nearly 70 years it was a convent run by the Sisters of St. Joseph Order. It was also a christian school. I had my engagement party here after hearing a recommendation on facebook, and I have to say I couldn’t have been happier. I had never booked an event before, let alone for myself, and Darien was so kind and patient with me. He walked me through everything and gave me really helpful suggestions. The space was ABSOLUTELY beautiful, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The food was sooo delicious, and there were a lot of different options for us to choose from. We had a few guests who are celiac and we felt confident that they would be able to eat without any problems. They loved the food too! We also picked a couple of drinks from their specialty drink list and they were so yummy too, the guests loved the south of the border lemonade the best! We loved it so much we decided to book our micro wedding there! We bought out the full venue, and used all of the rooms they have, plus rented out the house nearby (neally house). The rooms were clean and restored to look modern, but still had a historical touch. The micro wedding was just as great. We got married on the front lawn at the neally house and our guests just walked over to Dufour after. Everyone had such a wonderful evening. We really couldn’t have done any of it without Darien. Beautiful place, and wonderful staff. Highly recommend!

Grill 28 is a very affordable venue with the luxury of the beautiful Pease Golf course. Grill 28 made it possible for us to have a bigger wedding we wanted. My husband got married there October 2023. Planning was very hands on. Not traditional wedding venue but still made a great effort in planning. We had an amazing experience planning up until the wedding. Food was great everyone enjoyed it. We were able to afford open bar for 3 hours and signature cocktails Our wedding day was rainy, at some points full out poring rain. I feel this threw a wrench in the day and to the staff. I would say the venue is not rain friendly . Pictures were hard as we couldn't take them on the golf course, We had to take them in the tent with them zipped not exactly what I pictured when I spent thousands on a photographer. We even took some pictures in the SIM room I fear that were worse look like a JCPenny backdrop. However before the rain we got to have our ceremony outside on the fairway and it was GORGEOUS. I will post some photos, the staff was very accommodating for the DJ , photographer, and videographer to get them shelter in case rain broke out. I sent pictures of how I wanted my tables and decor set up and they knocked the set up out the park it looked amazing We were promised to have a dedicated server to my husband and I to bring us drinks and hors d'oeuvres while we take all our pictures in-between ceremony, that never happened. In fact my husband and I didn't get any of our hors d'oeuvres and they told us they ran out and then supplemented with cheese and crackers. Last complaint is our card box with thousands of dollars was left in the tent after the wedding, my husband and I realized at 2am and had someone drive us to the venue to get the card box. We walked right into the tent and took it. I spoke with other friends and all their venue event mangers made sure the box was given to a family members or the couple before they left the wedding night or at least kept safe inside. We were really upset about this. I do believe the event manager we worked with is no longer at Grill 28. All in all, it is a beautiful venue at the right price if you get a good day. I'm sure its amazing and much smoother. Once we booked Grill 28 for our day I struggled to find reviews and pictures of the venue so I hope this help a future bride and the restaurant leaves my honesty

Absolutely speechless. Dell-Lea is chef’s kiss perfect. We had the most amazing fall weather and foliage and sunset. Completely blow away by how effortlessly beautiful the day was - we brought no outside/ceremony decorations because the backdrop is so stunning. Laurie - our day of coordinator - was the master of all masters. She handled everything and seemed to be in 10 places at once all night long. She always checked in with us to see if we needed more food or drinks. She seamlessly handled a vendor snafu - our three bus drivers did not order a meal when I asked before our final headcount was due, but requested a meal on arrival at the venue. Laurie provided them each a meal and I didn’t hear a peep about it until the night was over! She helped my family pack up our decorations at the end of the night and made sure we had everything we needed. She even donated my bridesmaids bouquets to a local nursing home! The food - cannot say enough about how delicious the food was. Multiple guests came up to us during and shortly after dinner service to rave about their meals - the stuffed chicken, espresso encrusted filet, and cashew cheese ravioli. All so good, and my husband and I had all three at our table! The appetizers - incredible! The family recipe crab rangoons are worth the hype! The bartenders were incredible all night and nailed our signature cocktails. Working with Dell-Lea was seamless. I sent only a handful of emails before our details meeting because everything is so clear. Dell-Lea offers rental decorations, so we chose to rent table numbers, eucalyptus strands, centerpiece accents, and popular signage, saving us so much money. We cannot say enough good things about Dell-Lea - our day was so beautiful and perfect. We hope to be a guest at Dell-Lea someday!

The View at Pepperrell Cove was an absolute dream for our wedding reception! This spot has always been our favorite restaurant on the Seacoast, so choosing it as our wedding venue was a no-brainer. With all of our guests traveling in from out of town, we wanted to give them a true taste of the Seacoast—and this venue captured it perfectly. From the stunning waterfront views to the cozy, coastal ambiance, it felt like Maine magic. Working with Dionna, the wedding coordinator, was a highlight of the planning process. Her communication was always prompt and clear, and she went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together seamlessly. We truly felt supported the whole way through. And the food... WOW. Meeting with their incredible chef, Eides, was such a special part of our planning experience. He worked with us to create a menu that reflected our favorite flavors and seasonal ingredients, and the result was beyond anything we could have imagined. Guests are still talking about the food—and when you’re investing in a wedding, having that be everyone’s favorite part just feels so good. We truly can’t recommend The View at Pepperrell Cove enough. From the staff to the service, the views to the cuisine, everything was flawless. We’re already dreaming about hosting future celebrations here. Our guests even joked we should make it an annual tradition—because it was that memorable. If you’re considering a wedding on the Seacoast, this is an easy YES!

If you're looking for a one stop shop for everything wedding - they supply an excellent list of vendors, everything is on site, champagne around every corner, and talk about luxurious and beautiful! Kate, Catherine, and the entire Wentworth staff were extremely attentive, in person and via email - they were just incredible and I couldn't speak more highly about their professionalism. Our wedding guests are still complimenting Wentworth by the Sea - especially the food! Food is something not many people expect to be blown away by at a wedding - but boy they didn't disappoint! Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Wandby Landing, Mariah, Matt, and their staff are incredible. They made the entire process of planning our wedding stress-free. Every detail was perfectly organized and executed - hors d'oeuvres, the delicious drinks, an absolutely incredible family-style dinner. All night, and for weeks after, our guests were complementing the delicious food ("by far the best they'd ever had at an event"), and most notably, the friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff. We were able to enjoy our wedding day with all the trust and confidence that their team would carry through a incredible event for us and our guests. Growing up in Kennebunkport we had high expectations for our wedding at The Colony. Of course, the venue speaks for itself as the perfect backdrop for any wedding. No one will question that The Colony offers the best grounds and views for a wedding held in Kennebunkport. Our wedding was 130 people and the lawn (ceremony), front porch (cocktail hour), and ballroom (reception) were all great spaces for our guests. Our wedding day far exceeded our expectations and was truly a magical day for us, our family, and our friends. What truly set this experience apart was our wedding coordinator, Nicole. Her dedication, creativity, and organization made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was tailored to our vision. On the big day, we felt well prepared, and Nicole orchestrated everything flawlessly, allowing us to focus on enjoying each moment without any stress. We cannot thank her enough for the work put in to making the day perfect! Also of note, the food and drinks were exceptional, and we still have friends and family raving about the meal several months after the event (we went with the buffet option). We will happily recommend The Colony to anyone looking to have their special day in southern Maine!

It unfortunately rained but we were able to move things around to accommodate, Patrick and his family were very helpful with setting things up. I recommend hiring a good tent company the one I used I wasn’t happy with. The bridal suite and barn was a great touch that helped a lot with the rain and getting ready. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a simple, rustic, organic, all natural wedding.
