One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!

“We used Skylark music for our church ceremony and cocktail hour. We initially booked them pre-pandemic and they were luckily open for our new wedding date and were more than willing to accommodate. Their communication was stellar. I cannot say enough good things about their responsiveness and willing to help. My husband and I had a Catholic ceremony. Jesse was extremely helpful in providing us recommendations and telling us what would work well. On wedding day they showed up on time and played music as our guests were entering the church. They also were able to go to our venue afterwards to play for cocktail hour. As requested, Jesse and Justin played mainly jazz and added some Disney flare per our request. Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed listening to Jesse and Justin during cocktail hour and how they added a nice ambiance. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to listen to them on a busy wedding day. I would highly recommend Skylark music for any event. Thank you Jesse and Justin!”

Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! “Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ.
