“We first encountered The Last Nites at one of my best friend's weddings in 2022 and knew immediately we had to have them perform for our reception as well. Communication with Waylan leading up to the wedding was seamless. He was responsive, attentive, and genuinely invested in understanding our preferences and the overall vibe we wanted for our celebration. Something that really stood out to us was the band's willingness to learn new songs for the occasion. The Last Nites were able to learn three specific songs for us and seamlessly incorporated them into their setlist. “If I could, I’d take out billboards, blimps, and skywriting planes to express how professional, personable, and INCREIBLY reliable Stat10 is! Our 6/29 wedding wouldn’t have been as memorable if it weren’t for the dedication, hard work, and constant communication from Ravi and his team. About four years ago, my husband and I attended a 60th birthday party that was definitely the most lit 60th birthday party I've ever seen. Those seniors were thoroughly enjoying Andre’s mixes and we were out of chairs and dancing the whole night! So naturally, when we started planning our wedding, my husband suggested we get that AMAZING DJ that was at the 60th party (he’s a ballroom dance instructor so impressing him with a music set isn’t an easy feat). It took a few days of digging, but we found Andre's IG page, and I contacted him immediately. AND I'm SO GLAD I DID! Ravi, reached out to me shortly after Andre (who kept everyone dancing ALL night) gave him my information, and we met several times to ensure our big day would be PERFECT. Now, the Virgo in me was ready to micromanage everything, but Ravi knows his stuff and was able to provide me with suggestions, and was my one-stop shopping for the photobooth (the attendant was hilarious!), a candid photographer (who took AMAZING photos), and coming through last minute (the morning of the wedding) with a flower wall that I originally canceled with Stat10 the day before because another company (exterememely unreliable) tried to deliver the wall and just left when I didn’t answer my phone (I was in the bridal suite getting my hair and makeup done and the driver didn’t bother trying to contact someone inside the venue). Do you know they had packed it anyway, just in case, and BOOM! I had my flower wall, which looked gorgeous in the photobooth pictures. I had a wedding planner, but I felt like Ravi and Jordan were a needed extension of my wedding team. They took care of things that went beyond DJing and MCing, like ensuring I was being taken care of by the staff at the venue and that I was well hydrated before walking out into the 92 degree heat before saying my “I do,” (thanks Ravi!). Overall, I can’t express my gratitude to everyone at Stat10 Productions. It’s been about a month since our wedding, and I look back at the pictures taken by the candid photographer every day. I just can’t believe how well everything turned out because I have super high expectations and they exceeded them. I wish we were able to stay and give a video account of how wonderful our wedding turned out, but we have a 1-year-old, and it was approaching midnight so we had to run, but if you’re in the market, don’t hesitate to book this company if you want reliable service. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to book them again for my mother’s surprise 70th birthday party next year!”

“If you’re considering a live band for your wedding reception, look no further than Cause and the Effects. We hired the full 10-piece band to play at our wedding reception on 9/23/23, and that was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made. From our initial calls all the way through the actual event, the band set themselves apart and proved to be far more than a standard event vendor. They were completely invested in giving us the best experience possible. Vin and Anthony took the time to get to know us, our interests, and how we wanted the event to flow, and used all of that information to put together an amazing set. Our reception had a few unique twists, and the band took each of our requests in stride with enthusiasm and professionalism. Leading up to our reception, Vin communicated with some of our other vendors to make sure any intersecting elements (for example, audio/video and lighting) went smoothly. And day-of, the full band’s talent and energy blew us away. Once the party started, it did not stop for a single second. We, the majority of our guests–and eventually, some of the band members & instruments themselves!--were going wild on the dance floor the entire night. Even the non-dancers in the crowd were sitting and enjoying the music with huge smiles on their faces. Throughout the event, many people pulled us aside so they could tell us how much they were loving the music…and in speaking to guests afterward, the first thing every single person mentioned was how incredible the band was. And talk about a personal playlist–not only did they create a completely unique rendition of our first dance song (Starlight by Muse) to match our dance choreography, but they also delivered a huge surprise. In our consultations, we’d mentioned how important the band Linkin Park is to us…so Cause and the Effects learned “In the End” just for us, and delivered a phenomenal performance as one of the closing songs of the night. It was so meaningful, and it’s something we’ll never forget. Please don’t hesitate to make Cause and the Effects one of the first vendors you book for your event. "Five stars" is not a high enough rating!”

The band was founded in 2011 but the versatile members have been playing together and separately for more than two decades. “If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”

“The short version of this review: if you want the music at your wedding to be awesome and exactly what YOU love to hear, and without cheesey emcee vibes, hire Marcus! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Our wedding on June 27, 2025, at Viansa Winery in Sonoma, CA, was everything we dreamed of and so much more, and honestly, a huge part of that credit goes directly to them. We spent 11 months planning every detail, and booking Golden Bell Music as one of our very first vendors was hands-down the best decision we made. The band/DJ hybrid concept? Pure genius! It absolutely delivers the best of both worlds, and they pulled it off flawlessly. But really, the biggest shout-out – and the core of this whole review – belongs to the phenomenal Marlon Aldana, our DJ and drummer. We first spotted him in action on Golden Bell's Instagram, and it was an instant "that's our guy!" moment. You can imagine our excitement when we found out he was available for our date! Working with Marlon from the very beginning was just an absolute pleasure. He wasn't just playing music; he was genuinely feeling the room, intuitively knowing when to let a song build or transition to keep the energy up. All of our "must-plays" were there, the do not-play was respected, and the dance floor never once emptied And talk about flexibility! We had a last-minute idea to add an extra instrument, and the Golden Bell team didn't blink. They jumped right in, helping us find the perfect addition without any issues. Plus, we had a separate violinist for our ceremony, and it was so impressive to see how effortlessly all the vendors collaborated. No drama, just smooth, professional teamwork, which really speaks volumes about Golden Bell's commitment to making your day seamless. Now, for the ultimate highlight: our after-party! We decided to do something a little different and host it in a wine cellar, and Marlon and his team elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. When they brought in a fog machine, the entire atmosphere transformed. It wasn't just a party; it was an experience! That fog machine honestly MADE the party, turning the space into something truly epic. I genuinely can't picture it having the same incredible energy without it, so a massive thank you for that unexpected, perfect touch. And because we had a masquerade theme, I asked if the DJs would wear disco masks and they SAID YES and wore them the entire time, even after I told them they absolutely didn't have to for more than one song! It just created such an amazing vibe, and we've got the pictures to prove how much fun everyone had! There's just so much to appreciate about this incredible group. If you want your special day to be filled with fantastic music, seamless execution, and an unforgettable atmosphere, you absolutely have to choose Golden Bell Music. They truly are exceptional!”

While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“We hired the Met Players to perform at our wedding reception, and we would make the same decision again a million times over. Seriously, they were the best wedding band we’ve ever heard. And it wasn’t just us — we had dozens of our guests come up to us with the same sentiment. That’s because they truly are just that good. From the beginning phase of planning to the wedding day of our dreams, the Met Players were flexible, willing to listen to us and what we wanted on the day of and genuinely easy to work with. Having given them a handful of song selections, they were able to perfectly curate a setlist that absolutely knocked it out of the park. The band learned an unusual special song to us that was one of the many highlights of the night, speaking to just how willing they are to make the day of your dreams. At no point throughout the night did the band let the dancefloor go empty. We cannot recommend the Met Players highly enough if you’re looking for a wedding band that will blow everyone away and keep the party going all night long.”

“Ryan went above and beyond as our DJ. He helped organize the craziness of dinner before killing it on the table. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). All around an amazing job and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun DJ who isn’t afraid to lend a hand and help get the job done, even if it’s a bit out of his job description. Thank you!”

“How to begin to sing the praises of the best band there is? We’ll start with unsolicited reviews from our friends: “Would you be offended if I use your same band for my wedding? I feel like anything else would be a let down.” “What’s your band name? I have to follow them on Instagram.” “Pretty sure that was the best band I’ve seen in 20 years of weddings.” We had our wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse, and by 20 minutes into the first set the band had amassed a crowd of passers-by who stopped to watch and listen from a nearby bridge and stayed all evening long. Logistically, The Cool Rulers made life easy. We had a number of special requests for our wedding and The Cool Rulers approved them without hesitation and executed them flawlessly. This included learning 3 new songs, one of which was to be sung by 2 of our friends. Charles & Co coordinated with our friends to send them a demo and arrange time for a quick rehearsal, all of which culminated in a “performance” that seemed as if it had been rehearsed for months. The even accommodated a specific request for how they were set up, leaving us an aisle to walk down and filling it in during a short break later in the evening. The Cool Rulers are immeasurably talented, and the perfect complement to that talent is their ability to set the tone, ride the energy, and deliver an absolutely perfect evening of music and dancing. “Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams.
