His knack for reading the crowd and playing the right songs at the right time kept people dancing all night long. One standout feature was the music videos he played on the screen of his dj booth. Ken allowed my sister (the maid of honor) to use his dj booth for a slideshow during her speech, which was an exciting surprise for me (the bride) and all our guests. He was overall very patient with all our requests and even shared edits of the songs for the first dances, making sure everything was just right before the big day. Ken did a fantastic job making our wedding a night to remember. His skills as a DJ and his flexible approach really made a difference in making our day perfect. “Funktastic Productions Llc. was an absolute hit at our wedding! From the very first interaction, their communication was quick, friendly, and super detailed - they clearly cared about making our day perfect. And that's exactly what they delivered. I chose to have live piano and violin at my ceremony and they sounded beautiful together. They played every song I requested with depth and precision- even the fairly new music (I requested Birds of a Feather for the recessional, and they NAILED it!) They provided mics to the musicians and the officiant stand, which ended up being a lifesaver for us. The DJ and violinist were both fun and talented, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. DJ Servaun in particular did an amazing job matching the vibes, emceeing, and balancing in the moment song requests with a killer playlist. Get the DJ with Musician accompaniment package!! NVS was officially founded in 2018, but our musicians have been playing together for much longer, as principal players of the Fox Valley Orchestra. All of our musicians are very close friends; and that bond energizes and elevates our performance. Husband & wife team, Jeremy & Emily, have been making music together since meeting at the NIU School of Music in the early 2000s. Their love for their craft continues to grow with every performance opportunity together.

“Jeremy and the New Vintage Strings quartet were incredible. Jeremy facilitated the communication for the quartet, was prompt, thorough, and extremely helpful from start to finish with all aspects. The New Vintage Strings quartet played the ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, and were a massive hit for all who attended. Their resources were user-friendly, and their repertoire was expansive. The New Vintage Strings quartet were also willing to find the sheet music for a song that was not on their list of songs. It was an absolute pleasure to work with New Vintage Strings and relatively cost-friendly given how expensive live music can be, particularly for weddings. We didn’t have to worry about a thing Clare had it all under control and kept the party going. She covered everything from oldies and Suavemente to Blink-182 and somehow made it all feel cohesive and fun.
