As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. If you desire full-scale coordination you are welcome to provide a planner or even a friend with experience to manage the flow of your wedding ceremony.

The Little Chapel In-The-Woods was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From their polite, prompt, and thorough communication style, to the beautiful, clean, sweet and inviting quality of their work, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They made our day feel so special, allowing us to include our own personal touches like garland in the back and bouquets on the pews. Their ample and organized communication, as well as their availability on the weekend my daughter could attend, made the entire process seamless. The history and design of the chapel were immediately inviting and aligned perfectly with our cultural and artistic values. We are so grateful to the team at The Little Chapel In-The-Woods for helping to make our wedding day truly Heaven Sent.
