About us Macedonia Hills is a boutique venue for weddings and other events located near Newnan, GA. Surrounded by nature's beauty and entirely removed from the outside world, the property sits on 16 acres of hills and fields bordered by old-growth and evergreen forest. ​ Unlike a majority of venues of this kind, Macedonia Hills is family owned and operated. Thornton Marye, whose most famous project was the design of The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

The epitome of industrial chic, our main event space features an impressive wrought iron entrance that welcomes guests into an open and airy space with original hardwoods, exposed brick, vaulted ceilings, and warm natural light. A 1920’s inspired space, the Cellar, harkens back to Prohibition days with original stonework and vintage lighting.
