“We hired Petit Eclair for our wedding and are so glad that we did!! My husband and I are both not very comfortable in front of the camera so we were nervous for our wedding. However, we found Daria and had the chance to meet with her over coffee to talk about our day, our history, our goals, and what we wanted out of a photographer. Fast forward to our wedding day. She arrived early to our venue, was cognizant of me and my girls getting ready and was able to capture all the small details without me remembering she did (she’s that amazing!!). Daria was able to photograph myself and my girls while her husband photographed my husband and his groomsmen. This was so helpful so that she didn’t miss any small moment to capture. During the ceremony at our church they both captured everything, including the small glances we gave each other, family and friend reactions, and they were very respectful of being in a church. The rest of the day went so smoothly as they came with us to several locations to shoot with our wedding party. What I really loved was that she brought a list of the poses I wanted to have done (that I told her months prior over coffee), so she could help make sure we got those done. I forgot i had requested them and I think it was so thoughtful to have remembered :) They were both SO easy going, kind, but also kept us on track if we needed to move along to keep on schedule for the day. I am a mommy to my sweet little girls, Taylor and Bella and a wife to my caring husband, Peter I have 2 Great Danes, Zeus and Tizzy and two lovable kitties, Buttercup and Meatball and a whole flock of chickens. “Both my engagement photos and wedding photos were taken by Melissa! Honestly, she was the best! (And it should be noted, I am picky with pictures haha) While "wedding planning" some people recommended I hire a videographer, but with Melissa's photos I didn't even need one! She captures every moment, even ones you didn't realize were being captured. It's like reliving my day every time I look at these photos. There is a lot of beauty in her editing, lighting, and angles. She gives you pose ideas too for those who are a little camera-awkward. Plus I got sooooo much positive feedback from wedding guest about how much they loved her the night of the wedding due to her amazing, fun personality, but then when they saw the outcome of the photos afterwards, everyone including my husband and I were (even more) impressed.
