Communication was prompt, but they seemed to not listen very well. Biggest concern, is that we asked for no flashing lights due to a niece with epilepsy. He started right away with giant flashing lights. When I inquired, they said they had no record of this request in which I responded immediately with a screen shot of them confirming the request. Additionally, we requested a high energy DJ.. who ended up sitting the ENTIRE time, checking the football game on his phone. He never once changed a song when the crowd was clearly not feeling it. And I had multiple complaints from guests that he was not willing to play their requests or change up the energy to excite the guests. I reached out to the company about these concerns and they admitted that the DJ had been checking on the game, they missed my lighting request and only offered their apology as a solution. As we reminisce on our day. The DJ was the only thing we would have changed, we could have literally hit play on a Spotify playlist in place of the effort and energy we received from DJ.

We were super bummed out by this company. We had tried to communicate with them many times before our wedding and thought we were squared away but were super disappointed. The started setting up at the wrong place in the venue and I (the bride) had to tell them they were in the wrong location. They also were not knowledgeable about the processional songs and played my processional song first. They also did not read the room during our wedding and made inappropriate announcements regarding getting drunk because the bar was closing in a crowd that was not the proper setting. The DJ also had a hard time reading the dance floor when guests weren't feeling a song anymore. We also put that we did not want requested songs and they did them anyway. We were very unhappy with our experience.

We really enjoyed working with A Music Plus for our wedding! Our DJ, Carl, was awesome—he kept the music fun and the dance floor full all night long. Everything ran so smoothly, and we’re so glad we chose them!

Our typical attire is a suit & tie (or business attire for our female DJs), but we are happy to wear whatever you'd like.

Absolutely - we are happy to take requests, if it's something you're okay with. If not, we are happy to politely decline any requests.

We are happy to provide services at ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.

We can play all music, regardless of religion, ethnicity, etc. If you want to hear it, we can play it!

We are fully insured!

Setup typically begins 60-90 minutes prior to the event's start time. Set up takes about 30 minutes, then your DJ will conduct a sound check, check in with your vendors, and make sure everything is ready to go.

We provide a handful of additional services, including photo booths, uplighting, karaoke, a slideshow projector/screen, and a customizable monogrammed light. Let us know if you're interested in booking anything additional! All extras are half-off if you book your DJ with us!

Setup and breakdown are always free and outside of the contracted time. Travel fees will more than likely be included in your initial quote, assuming you provide an address or venue!

We do not charge any sales tax!

A Music Plus has been in business for over 30 years, and has worked in nearly every venue throughout Colorado.

We are happy to provide services throughout Colorado and into neighboring states (WY, NE, etc.)

Absolutely! Once we get you paired to the DJ we feel is best fit for your specific needs, we can set up a meet & greet so you can ask your DJ any remaining questions, make sure you think it's a good fit, etc. If you end up not agreeing that the DJ we pair you with is the best fit, we will work with you to ensure we get you paired with a DJ you feel is the best fit for you!

We always have a Plan B in place, just in case something happens to your DJ on the day of your wedding. We have never missed an event in over 35 years, and you won't be the first!

You can choose as much (or as little) music as you'd like! We don't have a setlist that we play, as we believe each client should hear what they want to hear, not what they're DJ might prefer to play. We are happy to play the music you provide, and your DJ will fill in the gaps based on artists/genres you like, can take guest requests (if you're okay with it), and will read the room to ensure everyone is enjoying the music!
