We are truly sorry for the experience you had on such an important day. Your wedding should have been seamless, joyful, and free of stress—especially when it comes to something as meaningful as music and sound. We deeply regret that we fell short of your expectations and that our service contributed to your disappointment. What you described does not reflect the level of professionalism and care we strive to provide, and we take full responsibility for the issues you encountered. We handle over 500 events every year with a 99% satisfaction rating. In 13 years, this is the first time anything like this has unfortunately happened. We’ve already begun reviewing what went wrong I can confirm that this was an unprecedented software issue. and are addressing this internally to ensure it never happens again. We have begun to update all our DJ’s software to avoid such incidents again and put in backup systems that all our DJ’s will carry to future events. Whilst you feel that communication was lacking after the event, this was a package service with the venue and immediately following the incident, I went to a meeting on Tuesday 1st July to discuss and agree on compensation as well as future procedures should anything like this happen again. We also arranged to credit the venue the DJ service charge as well as pay an additional $1500.00 charge for the replacement DJ company that took over. During this meeting, we were also advised not to reach out to yourselves until you were back from honeymoon and a meeting had been scheduled between yourselves and the venue. This I believe only happened yesterday. This incident has not been downplayed in anyway; we were just acknowledging the request of the venue. I, as the owner, take full responsibility and again apologize again on behalf of EC Entertainment.
