Violin & Hardanger Fiddle

I am a professional violinist and fiddler available to perform within the Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin tri-state area. (Note: my travel radius is within approximately a 60-minute drive of the tri-state.) A classically trained violinist for 30+ years, I play professionally in several area symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles and perform solo for special events. I have also played the Hardanger fiddle, Norway's national folk instrument, for 15+ years and am available to perform, demonstrate, and lecture about this unique instrument.

Rates: - Wedding Ceremony $500/ceremony - Cocktail Hour $500/hour (discount applied if booked with a wedding) - Other Performance $300/hour - Mileage $ variable (added for venues >10 miles from my home) - Hardanger Fiddle Lecture $300/hour - Special Requests $ variable (if need to purchase music, collaborate with another musician, etc.) ***Please view my website and contact me for detailed information!***

    Eden’s program on the Hardanger fiddle was phenomenal! Not only was it entertaining, it was educational. We've all listened to Hardanger music over the years, but Eden shared so many facts about the instrument and shared stories and history from the past. Mange takk, Eden!

    As a Hardanger fiddler, Eden is not only a masterful musician but an excellent educator as well, both introducing an instrument and musical repertoire that may be unfamiliar to the listener and providing tantalizing details for the aficionado. Her expertly presented programs are an invitation to a unique world of art, history, and culture extending from Norway to the Upper Midwest. Highly recommended.
