From the moment we first spoke to Ryan from GDTE we knew we were in good hands. His communication style was quick, efficient, respectful and easy, with an upbeat and positive attitude that put us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Ryan was attentive, organized and highly skilled, expertly executing our vision from the ceremony music and introductions to the perfect way to end the night. Ryan was able to truly make our visions come to life, and we would give him a 10/10 recommendation as your DJ for your wedding!

We hired Ben for our wedding, and while the booking and planning process was smooth, our experience with the assigned DJ on the day of the event was unfortunately disappointing. A few key issues stood out: • Several guests mentioned that the DJ came across as dismissive or curt when approached. • Our last name was mispronounced during the grand entrance, despite providing the correct pronunciation in advance. • An intoxicated groomsman gave an unplanned speech, even though we had clearly communicated that no additional speeches were to be allowed. • Many of our key music requests were either missed or not played at all. • The timeline we had agreed upon felt rushed, and transitions between moments were not as smooth as we had hoped. While none of these concerns violated the contract, they did impact our overall experience and the flow of the evening. This review is not intended to disparage the company, but rather to provide honest feedback for couples considering their services. We recommend confirming all expectations in detail, including pronunciation, playlist adherence, and speech restrictions, and ensuring that the DJ you’re assigned is a good fit for your event style and communication preferences.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, Ryan Todt was incredibly professional, prepared, and easy to work with. Ryan seamlessly provided music in three different spaces—our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—and made each transition feel effortless and smooth. The uplighting transformed the entire reception space and created the perfect ambiance—not just on the dance floor, but throughout the whole room. It was stunning! The special add-ons, like cold sparks, added an extra layer of magic and excitement that made the night truly unforgettable. Our guests are still talking about how fun and memorable everything was! We’re so grateful to have had a DJ like Ryan who understood our vision and brought so much energy and care to the experience. Highly, highly recommend!

It depends on how important the selection is to you. We have customers who book over 2 years in advance to make sure they get the DJ that they want. You will also want to take in to account the season. Autumn in New England is very popular for weddings and gets booked early as does Spring and early Summer...December gets booked up due to holiday parties. To be safest, as soon as you're sure of your date and time, give us a call.

Absolutely!!! Your DJ will set up a private consultation with you to go over all the specifics of your reception.

All of our DJs/Entertainers realize that this is your day and will be as interactive as you want them to be.

Definitely! This is your day and our entertainers will do everything they can to make your day perfect.

Our music library is so vast and updated weekly, it would be almost impossible to keep a current list.

Ultimately this is your final decision, however, it is customary to for the vendors to be fed.

He somehow managed to keep a smile on his face the entire evening despite the fact that we were late getting to the venue due to pictures and the onsite coordinator for the location asked him to have people seated and then 20 minutes later very rudely yelled at him for having our guests sit down after cocktail hour.
