Higher Ground Entertainment is a boutique Wedding and Private Event group made up of DJs, Hosts, Dancers, and Event Performers; based in the pacific northwest and available for events worldwide. We were founded with one goal in mind: to create amazing entertainment experiences. Our professional event DJs are ambiance experts. They specialize in creating an atmosphere in which you and your guests feel comfortable singing at the top of your lungs, and dancing like no one is watching. This is why we have the best DJs in the pacific northwest.

Gone are the days of tired playlists, cheesy shticks & party props, unkempt presentations and dated attire. At Higher Ground, we believe that every wedding, private party or corporate event is an opportunity. An opportunity to tell a story, to invite people on a journey, to inspire - and to throw one dam good dance party. Our event DJs are on a mission to bring creativity, talent, technology and style to the live event industry. We had a great experience hiring Higher Ground Entertainment for our wedding. They were organized, professional, and had great communication. All of our music and sound went off without a hitch - the vibes were immaculate all day. Our guests had an absolute blast on the dance floor, and to this day will mention how great our DJ Joel was. We highly recommend them for weddings or any other events.

Using Mason as a DJ was the best decision we made for our wedding. I can't think of a time we didn't have people out on the dance floor having the time of their life. He was cool, down-to-earth, and really reflected how great of a company Higher Ground Entertainment is to work with.

Most members of our team have hundreds of events in their rear view mirror (~5 years), while others have thousands (~10 years). We also work with young, up-and-coming individuals who have the right personality and skill set.

Higher Ground Entertainment utilizes an a la carte pricing model that is based on the knowledge, experience, technology, team, and value that goes into each performance. We have a number of talented individuals who all sit at different investment points. Some offer price incentives depending on the season and day of the week. Absolutely. We will research costs at your destination and provide you with an all inclusive travel estimate. We are open to other arrangements as well, our only ask is that we arrive on site the day before your event, that way we can run any necessary tech checks and/or rehearsals and avoid any airline disruptions. The million dollar question….truth is, it’s up to you. Some of the clients we work with draw the line on this issue and ask for no crowd requests, while others embrace it. In the case of the latter, we will always use our own discretion & intuition to filter your requests appropriately.

This is something we never plan on or expect, and none of your other vendors should either. Typically, we are too focused on making your night flow perfectly to remember to eat anyway. That being said, we will never say no to a delicious meal if you insist.

Two is one and one is none. We maintain backups of just about everything and build redundancies into our services at every level. 10 years strong and we've never missed a beat.

We believe in using commercial, touring grade equipment. If it's good enough for some of the greatest venues in the world, it's good enough for us. This ensures reliable equipment, optimized sound and a stylish look. For the gear-heads out there, Pioneer, Evolve, K-Array, Astera & Serato to name a few.
