On the day of, it is our job to enhance your wedding vision, not take away. Specially crafted dance music edits and amazing lighting will surely win your guests over. Our couples have enjoyed hosting one of the best parties they’ll ever throw, their own wedding. Jeff was great to work with! He kept everyone dancing all night and was even able to customize our first dance song to edit the length down! Everyone loved all of the music and fun atmosphere. He also does a great job with mc’ing different aspects of the night!

Jeff was fantastic to work with for our April 2025 wedding! He is so professional, organized, and has a great relationship with our venue (Stonehurst). He asked all of the right questions to get to know my husband and I's taste in music and helped make our day run so smoothly. In addition to playing all the hits on the dancefloor and having such an easy photobooth for our guest to use--Jeff went the extra mile and helped with editing our family dance songs and my song for walking down the aisle to fit perfectly into our day. We also added on the audio guestbook, it is so nice to hear your guests messages after the wedding. Cannot recommend Mystic River Entertainment enough!

My husband and I LOVED getting to work with Jeff for our wedding in November 2024! He was professional in every sense of the term and knew exactly what we were looking for in our music for the night. Husband and I have slightly less mainstream music tastes, but Jeff was still able to fill the night with music that we and our guests both loved. He also helped keep the night moving with things like dances, speeches, toasts, and bouquet toss. He even was able to create a custom mix of our first dance song (which was something we were really looking for) and work with my dad to keep our father/daughter dance song a secret until we got onto the dance floor. I would absolutely recommend Jeff to anyone who needs a DJ!

I always wear a suit (typically black & white) unless otherwise directed by the couple.

We are fully insured and can provide proof for couples and venues.

We typically arrive no later than two and a half hours prior to ceremony unless there will be a more complex setup, in that case, we arrive earlier.

A travel fee is applied when the event is being held farther than 75 miles from our business in Gales Ferry, CT. Hotel accommodations will be applied when the event is over 100 miles from our business. There is no cost to setup or breakdown and that time does not count towards your arranged time with us.

We do offer music and sound systems (wireless mics, etc) for both ceremony and cocktail.

We are happy to hear your guests suggestions but are very cognizant of our couples style and any music they do not want to hear.

There are no additional sales taxes that you as a client have to pay.

Everyday :)

We believe in creating that perfect soundtrack for the day (a mixtape to some). We listen to our clients very closely and help them select each and every song. We believe in customizing the experience, both in sound with special edits and in lighting, to ensure every wedding is unique. Music, lighting, and other enhancements can have as much meaning in shaping the wedding day as the flowers, decorations, etc. We want to show you how to do that.

We offer uplighting, accent lighting, CO2 Cannon, intelligent moving lights, dj edits, and photo booth (based on availability).

As an Open Format DJ who enjoys quick mixing everything from today's Top 40, Classic Hip Hop, EDM, to music of the decades. I particularly enjoy the remixes of the 90's and 2000's.

He created amazing mixes, not just transitions between songs, but actually combining songs in ways we've never heard! Even the older guests stayed until almost the very end of the night because they had such a fun time, and that's all thanks to our DJ!\n\nWe also rented the photobooth through them and it worked perfectly. The photobooth itself was sleek and we added on the unlimited printing option. We brought our own custom LED sign that him and his team set up along with our chosen backdrop and a collection of props they provide! The photobooth itself offers videos and gifs as well, and you have the option to text the images to your phone. Afterwards, they provide a link with all the photos taken to share with guests! He has a vast knowledge of all musical genres; I watched videos on Mystic River Entertainment's website of receptions in which the vision and vibe was totally different from ours, yet they nailed those vibes every bit as well.\n\nWhen my wife and I were preparing to go on for our first slow-dance, Jeff was a calming presence, walking us through exactly what he would say and exactly how it would all unfold. The dances and speeches went smoothly, and Jeff was even flexible with us when the best men (twin brothers) forgot to say a toast and wanted the mic back for a moment. \n\nFrom the moment the dance floor opened up to the moment the last song ended, it felt like an experience carefully crafted just for our musical tastes. Jeff knew that we had older family members that were big on disco-type music, and so he had plenty of tunes to get them moving. He knew the years my wife and I were in high school and college, and he put in crowd pleasers from those years that had all our friends singing and dancing like crazy. Some of the transitions he used between songs were so clever that they had the dance floor roaring with laughter and joy. One of my favorites was Miley Cyrus's \"Party in the USA\" into Britney Spear's \"Hit Me Baby One More Time.\" If you know the lyrics to the former, maybe you can guess how that transition went.\n\nI'm mentioning Jeff a lot because we happened to work with him the most, but he has other team members as well, and his assistant at our reception also did an amazing job. \n\nMystic River elevated some of the most important moments of our wedding, moments we can't stop thinking back on. I give them the highest recommendation possible. If you are planning a wedding or event that needs a DJ, I would at the very least reach out to them to see if it feels like a good fit. Personally, I can't stress enough how every penny spent on Mystic Entertainment was worth it! In my opinion, a DJ is just as important as a coordinator to the flow of a wedding. As Mystic Entertainment was a preferred vendor for our venue (Stonehurst at Hampton Valley, Hampton, CT) there was no second thought to include Jeff in our vendor team. Out of all the outside vendors, choosing a DJ that had a good working relationship with the venue was a priority. To the services specifically, I was blow away by the planning app that Mystic Entertainment/Jeff utilizes. Circling back to my opening sentence, I already knew a good DJ should not be underrated but the app was so detailed and personalized to our specific event that I was surprised by how much 'behind the scenes' work Jeff puts into each event. Jeff personally edited multiple of our choice song selections to ensure a smooth flow and appropriate length. He was also accommodating to last minute changes and added in a table run dance for us that was so much fun. Observing our guests throughout the evening, there was no doubt that everyone was having a blast on the dance floor. My now husband, who typically does not enjoy dancing, was on the dance floor practically all night.
