Q: Do you take music requests?

Yes! I do text requests so your guests can conveniently send me their requests from anywhere in the room.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes to both! I start music 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to set the mood and entertain guests as they arrive.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

You can expect me to be there at least 2 hours prior to the event to setup.

Q: What are your sales taxes?

No taxes are required. Prices are as marked.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

Setup and breakdown is included. I travel up to 1 hour away from Canal Fulton for no additional charge. I'm happy to travel further for a fee of $50 per hour, charged both ways. i.e. Columbus $100, Toledo $150, Geneva $65.

Q: What do you wear?

I dress up! I will try and coordinate with your color scheme. I typicaly wear a nice blazer, but if its an outdoor wedding in 90 degree weather...I might dress a bit cooler.

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes! Some venues require vendors to show proof of insurance. Just let me know, I'm happy to send them my information.

Q: What is your style?

I go with the flow, and keep it classy. I have a great talent for blending diverse tastes and making it all flow together. I let the music do the talking, and keep the mic work short and sweet. You've got to read the room, and know what's gonna keep people dancing. I've done everything from heavy metal weddings to disco weddings, and I enjoy the challenge and variety. I know how to hype it up and get the party started!

I'm a one woman show, and women do weddings better. This is the biggest bash you will ever throw, so get a DJ that pays attention and cares about all the details. You'll benefit from my years of experience and expertise to create your dream wedding. Playing an awesome playlist is an important part of the job, but where a lot of DJ's fall short is professionalism. On the day of our wedding, Liza's organized, calm, and personable approach was a breath of fresh air during what can be a chaotic event. She expertly orchestrated each moment of our ceremony and reception, even when we fell behind schedule. The dance floor was always full. We had an amazing experience working with Rokestar- DJ Liza was fantastic and really helped our day flow perfectly. Everything was super easy and the photo booth and custom sign were amazing add ons! Our guest loved being able to text in their request. I would recommend her to anyone!

Liza is the best! From her initial questionnaire, to our phone call, and final timeline everything was seamless and thorough. She made our ceremony and reception fun and stress free! Throughout the day she would check in with us to keep us on track or ask if we needed more time. I highly recommend Liza for any event. I truly cannot say enough kind things about her!

For anyone in need of a DJ, I definitely recommend Liza. We booked her to do our wedding ceremony and reception. Prior to the wedding, she had us fill out a thorough questionnaire so that she knew exactly what we wanted and was prepared to make that happen. On the day of, everything was perfect. She was easy to work with and took care of all the music and MC duties so that we could enjoy ourselves, and we sure danced all night long! A DJ can really make or break an event, and DJ Liza helped make ours unforgettable.
