Stylus S.E. did an excellent job as our event DJ. They had great communication throughout the planning process, and were very responsive to our requests and questions. The quality of their performance was top-notch - they kept everyone engaged and dancing all night long. We felt we received excellent value for what they provided, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented and professional wedding band and DJ.

As a wedding photographer, I've worked with many DJs over the years, but Stylus S.E. is who I always choose for my own events, and I refer them to anyone looking. Most recently, they did a fantastic job at my 25-year high school reunion in Wilmington, keeping the energy flowing and the crowd entertained even when everyone wanted a break from dancing. Stylus S.E. is punctual, caring, and intentional in their communication, and they have a keen ability to read the room and adapt their music selections accordingly. Their extensive knowledge and experience truly shine through, making them a valuable asset for any wedding or event. I highly recommend Stylus S.E. to any couple looking for a top-notch DJ.

We cannot say enough great things about Jason at Stylus! He truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. From the very first meeting, he was professional, organized, and genuinely excited to help us create the perfect vibe for our celebration. Stylus worked closely with us to curate the perfect playlist, taking the time to understand our music preferences and offering thoughtful suggestions that really elevated the experience. We had some unexpected rain roll through right before our outdoor ceremony.. Jason and his team helped our live musician (harpist) reposition her instrument and went truly above and beyond. What impressed us most was his ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high all night. Guests of all ages were on the dance floor, and we got so many compliments on how amazing the music was. Everyone was up out of their seats the entire night. In addition to being our DJ, Jason also emceed our reception, adding fun introductions and the perfect bits of music/songs following speeches (that tied it all together). I can truly say our wedding would not have been half as fun as it was without Stylus as our DJ. Jason even took pictures during our ceremony and reception and sent them to us after our wedding. It was so awesome seeing the DJ's POV of the night. If you're looking for a DJ who will not only deliver but exceed your expectations, look no further. We are forever grateful!

This is going to depend on your event but here's some basics: 1: Reception Sound System (if you've got more than 75 ppl you might want a sub) 2: Ceremony Sound System & Microphones (so that your guests can hear) 3. DJ/MC/Event Director (your Stylus DJ does all of this for you) 4. Planning Insight & Personalization (Stylus provides this for you too) 5. Get to know what's important to you - what do you remember best about the weddings you've been to? Every wedding is different - and you need to make sure that you prioritize what's best for your event. If you're not sure - give us a quick call and we'll help you narrow down your best options!

There are 3 main elements to keep an eye on when you're hiring a wedding DJ because you're putting about 75%-80% of your entire event in their hands. 1: DJing - This is the make or break - not all DJs have the same level of expertise or skills. The easiest way to get a feel for this is to listen to mixes. 2: MCing - DJs should direct attention, not take it. There needs to be variation in their voice, ask them to give you an example of how they might intro the wedding party and then the first dance. 3: Event Direction - ask them how they handle the toasts. If it's a short answer, this might not be their strong suit. It's complex!

Simple: 1. a signed agreement (don't worry if you don't have everything nailed down yet - we have an 'open agreement' policy because we don't expect you to know everything right out of the gate) 2. Retainer. We usually have this set around 50% (with the balance due around 10 days prior to your event) but we can set it as low as $500 - our job is to make this as easy for you as possible!

It depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for the McDonalds burger of DJs (in that case, call Elite DJ Solutions - that's literally what they're there for) or are you looking for a different experience? If you're looking to keep costs down, you can get a great Stylus reception DJ for under $2000. If you're looking for a wow can't miss ceremony cocktail hour and reception, our most popular option is the Prestige package, with is only $2995. If you're looking for a bigger blowout to make an impression, you're probably looking at between $5000 and $12,000 depending on how elaborate you want to get.
