Perfect Soundtrack to the Perfect Night
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with DJ Jon Smith of Unique Sounds Entertainment for our wedding! From our very first conversation, Jon was professional, attentive, and genuinely excited to help us create the perfect atmosphere for our big day. He made sure to understand our musical tastes, timeline, and overall vibe, and he absolutely delivered. He took all of our requests into consideration and used his years of experience to curate and craft the perfect playlist. As both DJ and emcee, Jon struck the perfect balance, keeping the energy high without ever being overbearing. His music selections were spot-on throughout the entire evening and he read the crowd effortlessly and kept our guests dancing all night long. In addition to DJing, Jon also provided an uplighting package that helped to set the mood throughout the night and helped to ensure that the vibes were just right! Multiple guests told us it was one of the most fun weddings they’ve ever attended and we credit so much of that to Jon’s expertise. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, personable, and truly great at what they do, DJ Jon Smith is the perfect DJ for you. We cannot recommend Unique Sounds Entertainment enough!
The only DJ you should consider
Unique Sounds MADE our wedding! It was a party from start to finish. We had multiple guests come up to us and say that they’ve never been to a wedding where they were up dancing before the meal had even been served. DJ Jon Smith played hit after hit that kept our guests and ourselves dancing the whole night, which is exactly what we wanted. He was great to work with and played such a great mix of songs! You truly cannot go wrong with Unique Sounds Entertainment!! They deserve 10 stars not 5!
Best Wedding DJ
THE BEST I FOUND! Communication before the wedding and during was amazing! Jon was right there at the door to greet me when I arrived at the venue, extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He did everything I asked regarding music, no problems there. Jon did our ceremony, provided microphones for the groom and officiant, the smallest most discreet microphones ever. Played the most beautiful Disney instrumental music before ceremony. Then switched gears for our reception! We were supposed to do a funny dancing song when he introduced us but at the last second my husband and I decided to switch gears and Jon had no problem what so ever! He had a clear loud voice when making announcements, everyone understood him. When it got close to the dance floor opening up he got everyone (young and old) at my wedding to participate in a fun dancing game. Everyone was dancing singing and laughing it was awesome and unexpected!!! The dance floor opened up and he played wonderful upbeat music that all flowed together no weird pauses or breaks between songs. He takes some videos and posts them on his instagram which I don't mind at all. My wedding and night was a 10/10 because of Jon and unique sounds entertainment! So wish I got a photo with Jon
Unique Sounds is the best!
I cannot recommend Unique Sounds enough. It is really clear that this team knows how to do weddings, specifically! We had DJ Jon Smith for our February 2025 wedding at the Graduate by Hilton Providence. For the months leading up to the wedding, Unique Sounds was extremely responsive and communicative. I spoke with both Blake and Jon at different times, and not only are they professional and good at what they do, but they are kind, genuine people who really wanted to tailor their service to our vibe/vision. Jon went through a comprehensive breakdown of the day with us, so we felt confident going in. I'd recommend just trusting Jon to get the attendees going because he knows what he's doing! Our wedding party intro was absolute electric, and Jon found ways to engage the attendees throughout the night. I have had so many people come up to me and say that they have never seen a dance floor so packed at a wedding. Once the dance floor opened up, people didn't sit down. Unique Sounds and Jon, thank you for being such a highlight of the night!
