Coffee Bae by The Brewed Collective is a veteran-owned mobile espresso cart based in DFW, serving handcrafted lattes, cold brews, teas, and matchas. Founded by Dayshawn Nellon, a U.S. Army veteran and former Starbucks manager, the business was inspired by the idea that coffee creates connections. Whether at weddings, corporate events, or pop-ups, we focus on delivering quality drinks with intentional service. The drinks were delicious, crafted with clear passion and creativity. My classmates couldn’t stop complimenting not only the flavors but also the vibrant, welcoming service. You could tell she truly cared about the atmosphere she created. Her setup even complemented the art exhibit perfectly, featuring a thoughtful collection of books that made everything feel connected, warm, and inspiring. My personal favorite? The “Story Teller” — a rich, smooth mocha that’s absolutely perfect for sipping while getting lost in a good book (or just wandering an art gallery!). It’s the kind of drink that feels like a cozy memory in a cup. We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our event.     I bought The Smoked Slayer from The Brewed Collective as an anniversary gift for my parents, who are both serious coffee lovers—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They absolutely loved it—especially the bold dark chocolate notes, which added a rich, full-bodied flavor without being too overpowering. My dad even said it paired perfectly with his Romeo y Julieta cigars, which is high praise coming from him!
