From traditional to unexpected, my cakes blend nostalgia with innovation, making every wedding celebration a sweet masterpiece.

Unlike traditional bakeries, I take a bespoke approach, focusing on a select few cakes each week to ensure meticulous attention to detail. My clients include A-list celebrities like Harry Styles and SZA. My award-winning mojito cheesecake, featured on Fox's 'The Great American Dish Off,' impressed judges Gail Simmons and Daphne Oz. We hadn’t initially anticipated wanting a vintage-style wedding cake, but once we saw Blair Gutierrez’s creations at Velvet Valley Cakes, we completely fell in love with the idea. Blair’s artistry and attention to detail were evident from the start, and the cake on our wedding day was nothing short of perfect—both visually stunning and absolutely delicious. Blair provided us with an exceptional tasting experience, delivering four different miniature cakes for us to try. Each cake was flawless, delivered without any issues, and gave us more than enough to sample and enjoy. The thoughtful presentation of the miniature cakes made the experience even more fun and memorable. With every flavor tasting so amazing, it was hard to narrow down our choices, but we ultimately decided on two flavors for our wedding cake (Earl Grey Lemon Blueberry & Mediterranean). From our first communication to the tasting process and all the way to our wedding day, everything with Velvet Valley Cakes was seamless, professional, and delightful. The cake was a true highlight of our celebration, and we are so grateful to Blair for making our wedding day even sweeter. We couldn’t recommend Velvet Valley Cakes more!

The viral hype is real! Somehow Blair’s cakes actually taste as good as they look — and they look incredible. I think I got more compliments on this cake (earl grey blueberry) than my dress We really struggled to pick a flavor, but they were all delicious. She is a true artist!

I had been following Velvet Valley Cakes on Instagram long before I was engaged and knew I was going to hire them to make my wedding cake when the time came. Soon after the proposal, my fiance and I ordered her sampler and were blown away by how delicious the cake flavors were. We could not decide between two specific flavors so Blair let us pick one flavor for our main wedding cake and the other for the supplementary sheet cakes. Our guests loved having options and both flavors. Style and aesthetic were the first things that piqued my interest in hiring Velvet Valley Cakes and I was excited to have a vintage style cake and even more excited when Blair used elements from my parents’ wedding cake as inspiration. We are very happy with our decision and can’t wait to have another reason to order a cake from her!

Velvet Valley Cakes was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, Blair was kind, caring, and incredibly detail-oriented down to the exact color I was envisioning. She took the time to understand every little detail I wanted with our cake & brought my vision to life in the most beautiful and delicious way. The cake itself was not only visually stunning, but also incredibly tasty. I cannot recommend Velvet Valley Cakes highly enough! She truly helped make our special day even more perfect. People are still making comments about how amazing it looked & tasted almost a month later!
