I create traditional-style wedding cakes, but I shine in more artistic and creative designs. Colors and textures are my playgrounds, and flowers and structures add to the fun!     Working with Cakes by Abby was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Abby was incredibly responsive, communicative, and helpful throughout the entire process - she made the experience easy and friendly. The cake she created for our wedding was not only beautiful, but also absolutely delicious. The quality of her work was truly top-notch and elevated. Abby even delivered the cake herself and ensured it was set up perfectly, being very careful to not place it in a spot that would raise the temperature too much. She executed it flawlessly. We loved working with Abby and would highly recommend her to any couple looking for an excellent wedding cake vendor.

    We can’t thank Abby enough for the gorgeous cake she provided for our wedding. It was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious!!! Our caterer bailed on the cake so we scrambled to find a new vendor. Abby jumped in at the last minute, was an absolute delight to work with, and delivered the most perfect cake we could have imagined.

    Abby was very professional. Responsive, provided clear expectations given we were on a tight timeframe of what needed to happen and what was feasible. She listened to my goal for a wedding vibe and my style and also was transparent about her style and capabilities and we found the the perfect design that married the two. She provides a sketch so there are no surprises. The cake was amazingly beautiful. It was bold, unique and luxurious. She is a true artist!!! And most of all it was delicious. Some pretty cakes don’t taste good but this over delivered! I received so many compliments on it. It was so moist! And every layer was delish, the cake layer the filling and the icing. Loved it!

    Working with Abbyfor our wedding cake was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process. I found her through a local DMV wedding group on Facebook and was instantly drawn to her gorgeous, unique designs—especially her wafer accents. I wanted a cake that was simple, elegant, and tasteful without being too large for our intimate wedding. She immediately understood my vision and worked closely with me to bring it to life. The tasting experience was fun and memorable, and she even accommodated a last-minute flavor addition that became our favorite (lavender with strawberry filling!). The final cake and cupcakes were beyond beautiful and they tasted just as amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious and elegant everything was.
