My name is Lanae Workman, Owner and creative genius behind Paisley Cakes. I have had a passion for baking and dessert since I was a child, using my first Easy Bake Oven. I began decorating cakes as a hobby, and that hobby soon turned into a desire to run a business. I graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in business management, an emphasis in marketing, and a minor in culinary arts. I was fully prepared for the next step, which was to open a shop, and share my talents and tasty cakes with you! That dream became a reality in August of 2013, when I, with the help of my husband Michael, opened our cake shop in Blackfoot.

With more than 20 years of experience, I am confident that we can create the perfect cake for you! From fondant to buttercream, no cake is too challenging! Paisley Cakes specializes in custom desserts, tailored to each unique client and their event! We have been voted #1 Cake shop in Idaho, and Best in Bingham County, Best of Eastern Idaho, and Best Bakery awards multiple times in the last 10 years in business!     Paisley Cakes made our dessert table dreams come true!!! I am from Pittsburgh and a tradition is to have a cookie table at your wedding with a whole assortment. It was a large ask, and they set it up perfectly and made even a few they didn’t have on their original menu (buckeyes especially). The cookies were delicious, cheesecakes incredible, mini cupcakes/gobs were divine. ALSO. we got a mini naked cake Iced with the Tetons. It was almond confetti and both my husband and I died when we took our first bite. Use Paisley Cakes! You won’t regret it.
