Cheesecakes have long deserved to be elevated to the level of wedding cakes. Everyone knows in their heart that cheesecake regular cake. Mercedes at Thicc Cakes has managed to do the impossible and created tiered, elegant cheesecakes that are just as show stopping as any traditional wedding cake. I first saw one of her creations at a wedding I attended and it absolutely blew my mind. But it’s not just about looks, these cheesecakes are insanely delicious. Truly the best I’ve ever had. Mercedes offers a wide variety of unique flavors, and each one I’ve tried has been incredible. Her retail shop is cozy and welcoming, and I’ve brought several groups of friends there to sample different flavors—it’s always a hit. One of the things I love most about Thicc Cakes is how inclusive the dietary options are. I have friends with dietary restrictions ranging from vegan, sugar free, dairy free, to keto and Mercedes had thoughtful, delicious options for everyone. Even friends who were fully prepared to not get to try anything. Her creativity and care really shine through. Mercedes is also just a joy to work with. Friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what she does. If you’re a bride looking for a wedding cake that’s both unforgettable and unbelievably tasty, I can’t recommend Thicc Cakes enough.
