Dear Jess, Thank you for your feedback and for allowing At Tasha’s Table Catering & Events to be a part of your special day. I’m truly sorry to hear you were disappointed with aspects of the service, especially after the time we invested in planning together to make your wedding day memorable. Throughout our planning process, we had multiple Google Meet meetings and in-depth discussions to ensure everything was tailored to your vision. Leading up to the event, you were provided with all the requested items—linens, napkins, and the gold-trimmed plate and flatware design you originally selected. with the exception of the votive holders, because of an accident that created breakage, so new ones had to be ordered. When you changed your mind at the last moment, I assured you I would make the switch and bring the silver items and the votive holders on the day of the event, despite the nearly two-hour travel distance. I understand there was concern over napkin quantities. I ordered and sent 110 napkins, more than your 98-person guest count, and asked you to double-check after you mentioned a shortage. Upon arrival, we found the extras had been set aside in the kitchen. Regarding the food, I want to clarify that the burgers were hand-formed that morning from fresh ground meat—there was no use of frozen patties. As for the timeline, there was a shift between cocktail hour and dinner service that did contribute to a delay, and I take responsibility for working through that as best as possible in real time, however, it was not more than a 20-minute delay. Our standard policy regarding leftovers is not to release them due to food safety and liability reasons, which we discussed during planning. Additionally, last call was clearly communicated by the DJ, and a few members of the bridal party being declined additional service afterward was in accordance with this. I was in contact with both you and your husband, as well as your day-of coordinator, throughout the evening and received positive feedback in the moment. In fact, your heartfelt thank-you card—signed by you both—meant a great deal to us and was a highlight for my team. Several of your guests, including your mother and grandparents, shared their appreciation for the food and service directly with our staff. We always strive to exceed expectations, and it’s disheartening to know that, in your reflection, we fell short in your eyes.
