Have Some Charisma is a family and woman-owned catering company that has been in business for over 8 years. Specializing in Personal Chef experiences, Catering, weddings, corporate events, and meal prep, our mission is to provide events and experiences that exceed expectations.
At Have Some Charisma, We value integrity, quality, and good food! Founded in 2015, we are committed to making every event memorable and special with our exceptional customer service and attention to detail. In recognition of our commitment to quality & excellence, we were honored to receive the Directors award from the DC Department of Health in 2022. Our reputation for excellence has earned us the opportunity to work with influential companies and schools, including Georgetown University, UDC, We Work, Yext, Members of Congress, & the Bipartisan Commission of Biodefense. Standards of Excellence and Good Service!!!
From the moment we first reached out to Have Some Charisma, their communication style was specific, adaptable, and courteous. The quality of their work and overall value was excellent - they were incredibly helpful and ensured everything was executed in a timely manner. When a few unexpected details came up on our wedding day, the HSC team quickly adapted and accommodated, allowing our day to go off without a hitch. We were thrilled with their delicious menu and attentive services, and would absolutely use them again for a future event.
Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!
We hired Have Some Charisma for our wedding, and I truly can’t say enough good things. From the very first interaction, the communication was clear, professional, and warm. Chef K and the entire team brought not only incredible food, but a full experience that made our event feel effortless and elevated. The menu was thoughtfully crafted and executed to perfection — from the Blackened Shrimp & Scallop Alfredo to the melt-in-your-mouth Beef Short Ribs, every dish was a hit with our guests. The plated service was elegant, timely, and beautifully presented, and the desserts (those blondie bites… wow!) were the perfect ending. I was unsure about additional desserts at first but i'm so happy we got them! What really set Have Some Charisma apart, though, was the attention to detail and genuine hospitality. The service staff was courteous, efficient, and made everyone feel taken care of without being intrusive. It honestly felt like having a five-star restaurant in our own home. If you're looking for a catering team that brings flavor, style, and professionalism to your event, Have Some Charisma is it. Highly, highly recommend!

Have Some Charisma was absolutely wonderful to work with. They listened to every concern, question, and special need leading up to our wedding- and DELIVERED EXCEPTIONALLY! The serving staff were fantastic people, warm hearted and very professional. The food was some of the best we’ve ever had; and our guests are still raving about it a week later! If you’re on the fence about dessert- ADD IT! Every little sweet was the perfect pop for the mouth and so so good! 10/10 recommend this amazing chef and team!
