Shelly and David Braswell are the creative artists at Golden Petal Designs. They offer various custom design concepts for your wedding day, beautiful florals, handcrafted jewelry, and glass or metal engraving. As a floral and event designer, Shelly brings the artistry alive. Graduate gemologist David is also a gifted artist. His specialty is designing fine jewelry, appraisals, and engraving; he is here to assist you in customizing your perfect gift or dream engagement ring. He is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA)

Our clients are like family. It is very important to us to please them. We schedule planning meetings and talk through every aspect of their event, paying close attention to what they are dreaming of, and we do our best to make their dreams come true!! We point out the issues that could come up based on our experiences and suggest how to tweak things to make them even better. By the day of their event, we usually come to know the entire family! Many of our clients still keep in touch years later, letting us know how their journey is going...new babies, job changes, moves.

    I would not recommend Golden Petal Designs for your wedding flowers. The communication with them was extremely frustrating - they seemed to have difficulty understanding English, forcing me to repeat myself over and over. The lack of communication made it very difficult to coordinate the floral arrangements for our special day. The quality of their work and value was also quite poor. Unless you want me to be screaming at them instead of speaking nicely, I would avoid this vendor. They were very unprofessional and did not seem serious about their work. I certainly would not recommend them as a 5-star florist.

    My husband and I worked with Golden Petal Designs in June and we were so impressed with them! They're great to work with and their flowers are of very high quality and look beautiful! I would definitely recommend them.
