Florists

Something's Blooming is a wedding and special occasion florist in the LA area committed to designing art-forward floral designs that tell the stories of our clients. We specialize in whimsical, garden-inspired designs and are known for our unique, wearable floral designs (check out our floral tattoos!) We love outside-the-box thinkers, art lovers, kind and inquisitive types who are easy to talk to and people who march to the beat of their own drum! We are LGBTQ owned & operated and use sustainable practices. Our favorite part of doing weddings is taking that one inspo image and finding ways to reinvent it into every element of an event.

Our whimsical, garden-inspired elevated designs. We specialize in wearables! Check out our floral tattoos, hairpieces, floral jewelry and so much more! If you can dream it, we can make it! We love large scale designs as well: installations, archways and chuppahs, centerpieces and wedding bouquets.

Oh my goodness, Michelle and her entire team were absolutely the best! Michelle is such an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything so easy. Design meetings were so fun and she asked great questions and really understood what were looking for, even when we could not fully articulate it at first. She pulled up helpful example photos live and really crafted the most beautiful artistic vision. In our final design meeting, she created real example arrangements so we could see how things would look in terms of volume and with the different vase options, which was so helpful. She has a fantastic stock of different styles of vases and candles/candle holders, and it was easy to pick something beautiful. We also appreciated her design insight on candles and were really happy with the candles and arrangements we selected. We originally planned on getting married outdoors and attaching flowers to a gazebo, but it rained day-of, and Michelle gets absolute bonus points for rearranging plans at the last moment! She went to see the indoor arch option that was already available at the venue and understood we wouldn't like it, and she went out of her way to rent a beautiful arch that meshed with our artistic vision - and we LOVED it! The ceremony floral artistry was unique and so beautiful and we were so happy with how it turned out. Michelle and her team were so kind and caring and easy to work with day-of as well, we were so appreciative and happy to have them there. The personal items were beyond incredible! I loved my bouquet so much and wish I could have kept it forever, it was everything I had dreamed of and more! My husband chose the full lapel boutonniere and it turned out fantastic and looked so good! He thought it was beautiful, cool, and different, and provided visual interest. We also appreciated Michelle's attention to detail with the designs and their sizes; I am a petite woman and she crafted a bouquet that was the perfect size and not overwhelming. Closer to the wedding, tariffs were introduced, and we really appreciated Michelle's transparency and up-front communication about the different options. She provided a high degree of flexibility depending on comfort level, and it made a potentially stressful situation much easier. We were really happy with the choices she provided us. All in all, we are SO happy we chose Something's Blooming! Our guests continue to rave about the gorgeous floral designs and we are over the moon with how they turned out. Thank you so much Michelle!

Wow, Ariel and Andrew—this review means the absolute world to me! Thank you so much for taking the time to share such kind and thoughtful words. Designing for your wedding was such a joy, and I’m so glad the florals felt like you—even with the last-minute rain shuffle! 🤪😅 It was truly an honor to bring your vision to life. I’ll never forget your stunning bouquet or that incredible lapel piece moment and Andrew's reaction - just the best!! Wishing you both so much love and happiness. Stay in touch!

Something's Blooming was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding florals. Michelle is the best! She’s a quick responder and our communication was easy and seamless. As someone who is very into plants and flowers, the florals were the most important design part of our day for me. Michelle took my millions of ideas (aka my hectiness) and turned them into a truly artful, creative, and cohesive vision. She does absolutely beautiful work. Even the groomsmen commented on how cool their boutonnières were! Michelle was a joy to work with and we are so lucky she was a part of our day - she truly made my floral dreams come true!

I loved how thoughtful and flower-forward your vision was, and I’m so happy it came together in a way that felt true to you. And groomsmen compliments? That’s definitely a compliment 😆 I feel so lucky to have been part of it all—thank you again for the trust and love! Stay in touch!

Michelle's floral design brought our love story to life. She is a true master of her craft. Her understanding of design, and I mean true design (placement, weight, balance, materials, etc) created the wedding floral design of our dreams. She’s the kind of artist who listens to your vision and elevates it tenfold. I wish I could get married all over again just to work with Michelle.

Thank you, Marco & Christopher—this means so much coming from you both. Getting to be part of your day was an experience I’ll never forget. Watching your ceremony unfold with your officiant signing front and center was one of the most powerful, moving things I’ve witnessed in the weddings I've done. I feel incredibly lucky to have shared that moment with you and your closest people. I can't even count how many times I cried during your ceremony! SO SPECIAL and PERSONAL... and just everything I want every wedding to be. Your trust, from the very beginning through every version of the vision, meant the world to me. And now—being published in Brides together? Just the cherry on top. Love you both so much and can't wait to witness all the things you do together! ❤️
  • Can’t recommend Something’s Blooming enough!

Michelle was such a delight to work with, and the entire Something’s Blooming team really went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. Creating the vision for our wedding florals with Michelle was so much fun because she took all our wacky ideas and ran with them, and we really appreciate how many personal details she incorporated into her designs. I knew that I wanted animal skulls included in the centerpieces and my bouquet, and upon hearing this Michelle didn’t even bat an eye! We also heard many people raving about the pocket square boutonnières our groomsmen wore- they were absolutely stunning, and the groomsmen appreciated that they were much easier to put on/manage than traditional boutonnières. In addition to creating the most beautiful floral designs we ever could’ve imagined, we heard from many family members and members of the wedding party that Michelle and her team were incredibly personable and that they enjoyed talking to them while receiving their boutonnières, corsages, etc. After communicating with Michelle for several months leading up to the wedding, we of course knew this would be the case! We cannot recommend Something’s Blooming enough, not only for the outstanding floral designs but also for the warm and welcoming atmosphere the team brings to every wedding.

Chloe & Mark—thank you so much for this incredibly kind and heartfelt review. Designing florals for your wedding was such a creatively fulfilling experience. From the moment you shared your vision, I knew it was going to be rad—and it was. Your rich, moody palette, the three distinct centerpiece styles, the black pearled wax candles, the animal skulls woven into every detail—it all came together so intentionally, and Wrensmoor couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. I loved crafting your exquisite wearables—from Mark’s moody lapel piece with the D&D dice pin, to the pocket square boutonnieres and wedding party bouquets with dripping burgundy amaranthus, the floral necklaces for moms, your floral ring, and that stunning hairpiece—each one layered with meaning and totally unique to you. I’m so happy to hear your guests felt the warmth and intention we brought to the day. It was an absolute honor to be part of it. Thank you for your trust and your wildly beautiful vision. 🖤
