The Curated Wild

The Curated Wild is a boutique floral design studio. We create wild and natural floral designs for weddings and intimate events throughout the Hudson Valley using locally farmed and foraged botanicals.

We are committed to developing strong and respectful relationships with our clients so that we can create florals that honor them and their celebrations. We are also. mindful of the environmental impact we have and so we source our floral material locally or american grown, do not use floral foam and make sure to reuse and recycle!

Working with The Curated Wild for our wedding florals was an absolute delight!! From our first interaction, Kate was genuine, easygoing, and provided clear communication every step of the way. The florals she created were absolutely gorgeous - natural, lush, and beautifully complemented our wedding aesthetic. I didn't have to worry about the florals at all, as Kate made the process so easy and seamless. The end result was stunning, natural floral arrangements that truly elevated our special day. I would highly recommend The Curated Wild to any couple looking for a talented, professional florist!

I loved working with Kate! Honestly, we didn’t work together too much because Kate was just SO ON IT. I think we had maybe two phone conversations—one to talk through the vision and another to discuss details and get the pricing right for us—and everything was perfect. She understood my vision within five minutes of our first conversation and brought it to life in person months later, all while being so helpful in figuring out a budget that worked for us (and it still turned out perfect). She even handled the linen rentals to ensure the colors complemented the flowers perfectly. She also managed a great load-in and load-out. I didn’t even see her before the wedding, and we started around 2 p.m. Note to brides: If you have any specific requests or needs, make sure to write them down or include photo examples. The day of is no time to realize you forgot to mention something. And remember, you’re the only one who will notice the things that go “wrong.” No one else will even know it was supposed to be there! I’m a delegator; I like to assign tasks and trust my team to get them done right, and Kate was an absolute asset to our wedding team. I also specifically wanted to source only in-season, local flowers for the wedding, which Kate was obviously all over. That said, I did have one specific request for an out-of-season, out-of-town flower that was really important for me to have at the wedding, and she was able to pull that off too! The Curated Wild is for you if you want to trust your team, let things flow, and have an open, creative plan for your wedding or event. Just let Kate do her magic.
