I'm Elizabeth, owner of The Wilmington Florist, serving the Tri-state area and beyond. I create versatile, thoughtfully curated arrangements—from eclectic garden-inspired designs to timeless, elegant styles. I believe flowers should never feel stressful, and while I welcome collaboration, many couples love that I bring their vision to life with minimal back and forth, letting them focus on other aspects of planning. I deeply consider each space—its colors, textures, metals, and light—so the final designs feel cohesive, intentional, and full of life.
I started in the wedding industry in high school, working for a large-scale floral company focused on weddings and events. Over the years, I worked at several floral establishments before opening The Wilmington Florist in fall 2022. With this depth of experience, I can anticipate challenges, realize your vision with ease, and ensure every detail is perfectly curated. It’s also why we’ve quickly grown into a well-established company in the area, holding preferred vendor status at many wonderful venues. I’d love to chat and craft florals that feel effortlessly you.

The BEST to work with and GORGEOUS flowers!!
The Wilmington florist is AMAZING! She is so talented and I cannot recommend her enough! She did my wedding florals and exceeded my expectations! The flowers were absolutely stunning and SO many people have told me how especially beautiful my flowers were! Not only is she talented, but Elizabeth is super sweet and easy to work with! She is very responsive and was helpful with even a few last minute requests! She also helped when I miscounted how many boutonnières we needed. When you book The Wilmington Florist, you truly don’t have to worry about a thing with your flowers - Elizabeth will take care of everything flawlessly!!!
Absolutely Incredible Florals!
The Wilmington Florist was absolutely spectacular. After meeting initially with Elizabeth, my fiance and I knew that she was the florist for us. She immediately got the vibes of our vision and the entire process was clear and smooth. The florals for our wedding were more than I could have ever dreamed of. I last-minute asked to change the bridesmaid bouquets to monoblooms and they came out gorgeously. My bridal bouquet and our ceremony & reception florals were also spectacular. So many of our guests gushed over how ethereal, unique, and beautiful the blooms were. We can't thank Elizabeth enough for making our day so special and beautiful!

We decided on Elizabeth for our wedding from seeing such an amazing job she did with a friend of ours wedding. From the moment we saw her work we knew we wanted her, she was pleasant, easy, and had an idea and executed. She nailed what we wanted without us having to give her a ton of direction which gave us more time to plan other things we were working on. I would recommend her to anyone and you will not be disappointed!
