Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Because here’s the thing: Most engaged couples have very little floral knowledge, feel completely overwhelmed by their planning to-do list, and need support from someone they can trust. This is why my process provides you with more than just beautiful arrangements. DETAILS: Delivery and set-up of all wedding florals. Option to add on post-ceremony repurposing and post-reception teardown. Custom-to-you packages of whatever bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages/ceremony and reception decor etc. that your heart desires. Only one wedding booked per day to provide you with an undivided and personal experience. Full-service wedding floral packages start at $10000

We are so happy we chose Misha as our wedding florist—she was truly one of the best parts of our planning experience. Throughout the entire year leading up to our wedding, Misha was thoughtful, collaborative, and incredibly engaged. She would regularly send inspiration she came across that reminded her of our style, which made the whole process feel like a true creative partnership. Her attention to detail and ability to interpret our ideas was incredible—and on the day of, everything she created completely exceeded our expectations. The florals were absolutely stunning. Misha has a calling in life and it is 100% creating the most stunning floral arrangements. Multiple people actually asked if we got married in a botanical garden—that's how incredible everything looked! When I first spoke with Mia - I knew she completely got my not very clear general idea because everything she talked about aligned with my vision: a wedding that felt like an explosion of spring flowers. Although I didn’t book her immediately due to a big move, I was lucky she was still available when I circled back a few months later. One of the things I loved most about working with Misha was how easy it was to communicate. I didn’t know the names of specific flowers, but I knew the 9 colors I wanted in the wedding —and Misha got it exactly right. When I saw my bouquet on the wedding day, I actually teared up. It was perfect. Every arrangement looked incredible. If I could, I’d have my whole house decorated in her flowers forever. It was everything I dreamed of. Misha is also a phenomenal vendor to work with—she’s kind, warm, communicative, and thoughtful. She checked in during the week-of and made everything feel effortless and exciting. I truly couldn’t have picked a better florist. If you’re considering booking her—do it. You’ll be endlessly grateful you did.

Working with Misha at Woodland Floral Design Co. was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their communication was clear, kind, and fast throughout the entire process, putting us at ease and making wedding planning much less stressful. The quality of their work was truly show-stopping - the flowers they provided were elegant and beautiful, and many guests commented on how incredible the quality of each flower was. The bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony decor were even better than we envisioned, and Misha so thoughtful and easy to work with every step of the way. She responds quickly and is always happy to ideate with you. I was able to keep 95% of floral planning over email. This included changing my mind 4 months before the wedding to (1) use all the colors of the rainbow versus whites & greens, AND (2) majorly changing styling for our head table and guest tables. All of this was discussed and adjusted over email. Something that could have been so complicated felt so easy with Misha. She even directly coordinated with our rental vendor so I wasn’t playing middleman — I am still so grateful for that. And lastly, Misha was the only florist that respected our initial budget. Everyone else went WAY over, but she was honest with us from the get-go about what was realistic. We really appreciated that and felt we could trust her.\n\nI’m going to do my best to write about what Misha created for us, but it will never do it justice. Look at the pics and definitely check out her Instagram!\n\nMisha thoughtfully carried the same whimsical floral palette throughout every space in The Booking House. From the entrance, to the staircase, to the bar, to the tables, but most importantly to THE MANTLE. The mantle in the Rizzardi Room is the focal point of the ceremony, and the reception as well. It looked like a garden burst out of the fireplace — it was absolutely incredible. I have no idea how she did it — it was truly magical.\n\nThe bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were equally beautiful — and as a bonus, Misha was able to repurpose the bridesmaid bouquets for our head table. My bouquet is currently being preserved and made into art — I cannot wait to hang it in our home!\n\nAnd so much love was given to our guest tables. Misha curated the cutest little bud vases to sit with gorgeous gold tapers and vintage books. These bud vases were also used in other nooks and throughout our cocktail hour. They were the perfect pop of romance.\n\nIf you choose to work with Misha, I recommend not being too particular about flower types and exact colors. About 2 months before the wedding I began experiencing decision fatigue across the board… so I just told Misha that I knew whatever she did would be beautiful and to essentially follow her heart. That was the best decision I ever made.\n\nI cannot say enough wonderful things about Misha and her work. As we got closer to the day, she was so thoughtful by checking in and providing conversation!! That was a big added perk to me, she felt less like a \"vendor\" (that almost sounds insulting / cold) and more of a friend :) I threw two major curveballs at her, one of them being asking to add petals (for throwing) a week before and the other being changing the ceremony site from an arch to a gazebo literally the afternoon before, and she took it all in stride. Talk about flexibility! While she was preparing the bouquets the day before the wedding, she sent me previews and that was amazing - other than the obvious one of not having to wait another day to see the pretty flowers, that meant I was able to offer input. And yet, I was still BLOWN AWAY when I saw the flowers in person!! They really elevated my venue from 0 to 101. She provided bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, ceremony flowers, cake flowers, flowers for the tables, repurposing, etc. And I didn't even ask for the corsages, she was just kind and thoughtful enough to make them with some flowers she had left over :) Everyone was telling us how beautiful everything was - it all looked like a dream! My officiant was so impressed that she asked for a business card. I also want to add: Misha's good for ALL flower styles. She markets herself as boho/woodsy and I believe that's her personal favorite style, but my wedding went with more bright / traditional (maybe even boring haha) flowers and she delivered beautifully! If what you're going for looks slightly different to what you see on her pages, don't let that stop you - I'm 100% sure Misha will be able to get it how you want it.
