Hello, I'm Andrea owner/Main Hair & Makeup Artist (HMUA) of ClassyHMUA. Growing up I always liked playing with my mom's makeup and hair tools, but I never thought this was going to become my passion and my career.
I can describe my style as edgy and made to turn heads but always elegant and "classy". Since 2018 I've been helping hundreds of women to find their inner beauty and enhance it in their own and unique way. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people through beauty and self-appreciation.

This look is perfect for all makeup lovers! This look is a step up from the "Classic" makeup look. We achieve this look with full HD foundation, more dramatic eyeshadows, eye liner, wispy eyelashes.

Andrea from ClassyHMUA was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day hair. From the very first consultation, Andrea was incredibly communicative and detailed in understanding exactly what I wanted for my look. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I was getting high-quality, personalized service was evident throughout the entire process. On the day of, Andrea made me feel absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations - she made sure my hair and extensions were comfortable, looked natural, and exactly what I had envisioned. I received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS!! I couldn't have asked for a better beauty professional to be a part of our special day. Highly recommend Andrea & ClassyHMUA!

TL;DR Andrea of ClassyHMUA is unprofessional and unreliable. She ghosted me on my wedding day and then ghosted me via email afterwards. My experience hiring ClassyHMUA for my wedding day was unfortunately not a positive one. I had two paid trials with Andrea (the owner) to make sure we got my look for the day locked in. I was happy with her work and she told me explicitly that, while they would need two artists there on my wedding day to get everything done in a timely manner, she would personally be doing my hair and makeup. Fast forward to my wedding day. When I arrived at the venue with my Bridesmaids the HMUA artists were already there, and I had never seen either of them before. I’m a pretty chill person and not one for drama so rather than saying anything, I just went with the flow. Things went mostly fine until it was my turn. Though they had reference photos, neither the hair or makeup artist understood exactly what I wanted. The makeup artist didn’t even have the same products that Andrea had used. She wasted ages trying different false eyelashes on me before giving up altogether because she didn’t have the same ones used on my trial. Naturally, this caused the process to take longer than anticipated, which meant that family photos were very rushed and guests had already begun to arrive as we were finishing up. This added unnecessary stress to my wedding day and while I mostly took it in stride, I could see it totally ruining someone else’s special morning. The real kicker is that when I checked instagram I saw that Andrea was elsewhere, working at a different wedding. So she essentially double-booked herself and then pretended it was fine. All of my other vendors checked in with me after my wedding except for Andrea. I heard nothing from her so after a week I sent her a very polite email with my feedback about the situation. She acknowledged that she had made a mistake because she thought she had told me she wouldn’t be there but hadn’t. She gave a bare minimum apology and didn't offer anything else. I waited for a while before emailing again and asking that she please consider a small refund, at the very least for my extra paid trial with a person who didn’t even end up doing me hair or makeup. It’s now been two weeks with no response. I see that most of her other reviews are positive so perhaps I just had an unlucky experience, but I think it’s important for other brides to know what they’re getting themselves into. I would not recommend ClassyHMUA to any brides who value clear communication and professionalism.
