Hi Diana, Thank you so much for your feedback, I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the outcome of your hair and makeup on such an important day. As someone who was personally there and had worked closely with you for nearly three months leading up to your wedding on September 1, 2024 (Labor Day Weekend), I was genuinely committed to making your day as smooth and special as possible, especially after your original hair and makeup artist unexpectedly canceled your services just a month before. You had initially booked our most basic bridal party package, as you had already secured another artist for yourself. When that changed, I personally stepped in—along with our lead hair artist, Jenny—to provide your services without charging the usual bridal rates. We understood how stressful that situation must have been, and we genuinely wanted to support you. That day, the weather was extremely hot and humid, which can affect the longevity of both hair and makeup regardless of prep. We recommended upgrades specifically designed to help with long-wear results under those conditions, but I understand you chose to stay with the original package. Regarding the timeline, we worked through several revisions before the big day. You had requested that our team stay until 4 PM, which typically falls under our VIP package tier, though you opted to remain within the basic package pricing. A week before the wedding, you confirmed that a later start time and a 4 PM finish for all 20 services had been approved by your photographer. However, when we arrived, both the venue manager and photography team informed us that everyone needed to be photo-ready by 2 PM—two hours earlier than anticipated. We immediately adapted, adjusted our workflow, and completed all 20 services under this much tighter timeline—while still maintaining a calm and professional environment. We completed services by 2 PM and stayed until 3 PM to help you get dressed and ensure final touch-ups were done, even as the urgency from your venue and photography team increased. Again, we stayed that additional hour at no extra cost to you. At no point did we intend to rush, and I’m truly sorry if that’s how it came across. It’s disheartening to hear that the results didn’t meet your expectations. Our mission has always been to enhance our clients’ bridal beauty and provide a stress-free, high-quality experience—something reflected in the many reviews we’re proud of. While your feedback doesn’t capture everything that occurred behind the scenes, I completely respect your perspective and appreciate the opportunity to grow from this experience.
