My name is Jasmine and I run my beauty company called RoseHand Art & Co. We have a team of hair and makeup artists to suit your bridal party needs! I have been in the makeup industry for over 10 years and in the bridal industry for the last 6 years. When I’m not doing weddings I am doing fashion shows and photoshoots of all kinds. I am passionate about giving an added confidence boost to anyone who sits in my chair.

    after booking with Jasmine, several months in advanced, the day before my appointment when I emailed her to get the address, she canceled and gave an excuse. I said I understood and then I tried for three weeks with lack of communication on her part to rebook an appointment that I paid for. She finally rebooked it with me and then I asked for my phone number to call to talk about the service. She never called. Then the day before my appointment, I emailed her to remind her that I still did not have the address she canceled on me and then told me she would not be available for my date of my wedding anymore and then try to get me to sign up with a brand new artist, paying the same amount was gonna pay her even though this brand new artist was a lot cheaper on her website. I said no thank you and then I want my money back. She did not respond. I emailed her the next day and let her know that I was waiting for my refund. Now she’s telling me I have to wait 30 days for my refund starting that day. It’s actually been over 30 days since my original appointment that she canceled. Now I have no make up artist for my wedding, this is a really anxious time and she just made it a lot worse. Because now I’m guessing she’s going to just not pay me back. which if she chooses to not pay me back, I intend to take her to court because I have a lot of documentation.

    To be clear, I was not your makeup artist for your wedding. You did not book me for your wedding. You booked me for a trial. Which does not guarantee your date by any means, ask any makeup artist. I found you a replacement makeup artist, because I was no longer available for your wedding date. In which. You did not book me for. Also by your judgment of the makeup artist I tried to find for you, who you thought was brand new, but in fact was not a "brand new" artist. So kindly, I ask you to stop slandering my business off your own frustrations. I have refunded you the money for your trial right after you emailed me today. In which was only $75. Way before you posted this. To say you are taking me to court over it in a review is slander because I have refunded you.

    I was sent a “fill in” makeup artist on my wedding day. 1. Communication in the beginning was great. Set up and paid for trial, attempted to contact numerous times days prior to confirm, finally she responded that her families schedule had changed and that time wouldn’t work. I was driving from hours away. We rescheduled my trial through FACETIME and with terrible connection and background interference only lasting a few mins. I saw through social media she was very talented so I let it go. 2. Morning of my wedding I texted her our location and she lets me know her mom (who was watching her kids) was in an accident the night before and someone else is coming to do my makeup. I am a parent and understand things do happen but it would’ve been nice to know immediately and without me reaching out first again! I would’ve found other arrangement if I didn’t already pay in FULL! Or the option to be refunded. The other MUA was not terrible, I didn’t feel like a stunning bride I watched Jasmine work with. I felt this was worth letting another bride know so they don’t feel stressed on their big day! She never checked on us after the fact.

    Hello Aja! First, we want to apologize for your experience. Unfortunately you never communicated any of this to us. This year has been challenging as we welcomed a new baby and maintaining and balancing life and its ebbs and flows has been different. You were very kind in understanding these things, so we are surprised by your review. Regarding the trial, we apologize for that, you had suggested the FaceTime to chat about your look because you said how natural you are and may not need a real trial, this was your choice and the connection was not good because you were using WiFi from someone else’s home while in your car. That was not in my control. This is not a common occurrence for a bride to experience through us, this was the first. We would have happily rescheduled your trial in person. Day of, there was an event that I could not have prevented, I did everything I could to accommodate you. I set up an emergency artist, if you did not want her you could have communicated that and I would have sent a full refund. Thank you for working with us. We apologize for your dissatisfaction.

    I can not speak highly enough about Rosehand Art & Co. Reina and April traveled to my Ludington wedding and made me feel more beautiful than I ever have before. I struggled to find a HMUA that would accommodate me and my small wedding party but these girls made my Matron of Honor and I feel just as important regardless of that. My bridal makeup was something I was very particular of out of all the many details that go into planning, and Reina absolutely nailed it. Both ladies were on time, efficient and so kind to us. Our hair and makeup lasted all day through the tears, strong wind and hours of dancing. I can not thank them enough for being such an important part of my day. Highly, highly recommend booking with them!!
