Thrive Salon and Spa is located in Monticello, Illinois, just off of I-72. Lauren, the owner, a licensed cosmetologist since 2008, has been doing makeup and hair for weddings since 2012. She has built an INCREDIBLE team of top notch makeup artists and hairstylists that make up the Thrive Bridal Team and has the absolute pleasure of learning from them as we work side by side every weekend throughout the year. Working with our team is fun, organized, professional and will result in you feeling beautiful as well and gorgeous professional photographs.

We specialize in soft, pretty, beautiful makeup that is niche, specifically to bridal makeup. The bridal hair that we provide is built on a strong foundation of training, experience, practice and on going education to stay current, trendy and that preforms on your most important day. We don’t charge extra for brides, you and each member of your bridal party are all being photographed and we want everyone’s hair and makeup to perform all day as well as photograph beautifully. You are all our priority.

    I had a crazy vision, multiple colors of hair, done in a very specific way. Lauren accepted the challenge and pulled it off more spectacularly than I could have imagined! She heard me when I said "dramatic"!! She heard when I said "lashes to make RuPaul blush"! She made me look more amazing than I thought possible. My mother's hair and makeup she claimed made her feel 10 years younger! Her team was amazing, but Lauren is the STAR of this team and she will make YOUR dreams come to life and not kill your hair in the process! She did my husband's blowout and he siad he has never had his hair feel so amazing! My Man of Honor called it "rich peple hair!" because his felt like silk after she cut and colored it! She is a magician! Highly reccomend!!!

    Lauren was so kind and provided great services over and over again. She has been so fun to work with and she even did my AMAZING makeup for my boudoir shoot! She never disappoints and always does a great job while also making you feel so beautiful and confident. Highly recommend!
