From as young as I can remember, I loved styling hair! I spent 12 years styling behind the chair before I decided to make the jump into the wedding world. And I have never once looked back! Special occasion styling is my passion, and weddings are my absolute favorite. I love making the brides vision come to life and watching their face light up when the styles are complete.

What sets top knot apart from other hair stylists is our meticulous attention to detail as well as our love of the art of hair styling. We focus soley on our skills quarterly to keep up with all the modern trends.

Lori! Heather! The whole team! What an absolute delight. I had a rough time finding a hair stylist I felt good about, especially since the norm is to do the trial AFTER booking a team, and I have curly and slightly unpredictable hair. I found Lori after doing a lot of research into stylists who had worked with curls - and in keeping the natural curl intact for a wedding style - which was difficult to find! Lori had examples of doing this and showed a clear understanding of different curl patterns and types. I went to my trial with a very general idea of what I wanted and Lori brought out the dream. She was super communicative and made me feel really comfortable to share if I was unhappy with anything (which I wasn't, because she's incredible). On the wedding day, she was so wonderful, supportive, and diligent in recreating what we had done at the trial. She was hyper aware of how time and weather would affect my hair, and made sure I had all the information I would need to keep everything looking good all day. She also ran a tight ship, and got all 11 of my people done early, while keeping vibes and spirits high! I love her. Heather did my makeup and made a believer out of me! I've never seen my skin look so bright and glowy and I never felt overly done or cakey, which has been an issue for me before. She listened to every idea and concern I had, and adjusted accordingly to make sure I was super happy with everything, which I was. She's also an aesthetician, so she deeply understands skin and its movement and behavior and you can tell! I got a facial from her a week before the wedding too and it was a GAME changer. The dream team of gals on the wedding morning was so wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better team. Book Top Knot!!

Top Knot Hair was a pleasure to work with for our wedding day. Their communication style was straight to the point and attentive, which we really appreciated during the busy planning process. Top Knot Hair is truly TOP NOTCH. Lori is amazing to work with. She is so talented, creative and works extremely fast. She handled our wedding party of ten with ease all by herself and absolutely crushed it. She tailored to everyone's desirable look making them feel beautiful and confident. Lori at Top Knot Hair was incredible! My trial went perfectly and wedding day was even better!
