Brettina Mae Photography

My name is Brettina and I am a wedding and family photographer. I live in Michigan but travel all over the world! My goal is to make you feel comfortable and beautiful, because you are. As a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I strive for inclusivity in my personal life as well as my photography. I am a huge advocate for capturing the world you see before you and not a fake perception of that world. I am welcoming of all and will photograph all regardless of race, religion, gender expression and identity, sexual orientation, age, size, ability, ethnicity, or culture. Our world is diverse and my portfolio should be too.

I not only capture those perfectly posed moments, but all of the candid moments in between. Some people call this "documentary" style and I agree because at the end of the day our job is document your day. I'll capture the gorgeous details and the big moments, but also focus on the small moments with grandparents, siblings, etc. It's your day and I am here for it.

    Brettina was so amazing to work with as our wedding photographer. I had so much fun taking photos with her and she did a great job making us feel comfortable.     Brettina was amazing! We did engagement photos with her as well as our wedding photos and they turned out better than I could have hope for! She was very timely and had our photos back to us within 3 weeks of our wedding. She was so easy to communicate with and just a great person to have with you on your wedding day.

    Brettina was a dream to work with. She was professional, communicative and delivered absolutely beautiful photos. I feel like our photos really captured who we are and how we wanted our wedding to feel. We love our posed portraits, but she also has an eye for the most heartfelt candid shots that I come back to again and again. We received our final photos promptly, and it’s clear how much care was put into each one. Brettina was super encouraging throughout our engagement session and wedding day, so it was always comfortable being with her even though we aren’t usually ones to take pictures… and she’s fun, too! We truly enjoyed having Brettina for our wedding and I would recommend her to anybody. THANK YOU!!

    Brettina was awesome to work with, communicating throughout the process and giving us sneak peeks not that long after our engagement and wedding pictures! She asked us for any input of what we desired throughout the process and did her best to deliver. We had a super windy wedding day and she had ideas to help our photos turn out beautifully!
