Hi, I am Caroline Fitzgerald. A 22 year old photographer born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with a passion for photography. My photography journey began in 2013. Photography is a way to convey a story, visual storytelling. Since beginning photography, I have found that of some of my greatest memories have been caught on film. Connecting with people and hearing their stories and the memories they hold is one of my favorite aspects of photography.

When looking at a photograph you should feel some sort of emotion. Photography is visual poetry. Standing behind the lens I love to capture real and raw images. Whether I am taking pictures of landscapes, aerials, or beautiful faces, I enjoy taking the time to perfect each and every image. When I am not behind the lens you can find me walking through the woods, finding a good view, or chasing the sunset. Please feel free to contact me for any comments, questions, or inquires.

I do not have a studio. All my sessions are outside or in your home.

There are so many options! What suits you? Really—that’s the most important part of choosing a location. We’ll want to pick something that matches your aesthetic and, ideally, somewhere that is special to you. I have a few locations that I love, but I’ll work with you to decide on just the right spot.

Simply put, you don’t ask a professional photographer to give you their RAW photos because that would be giving you only half of an unfinished work of art. Photographers spend so many hours fine tuning their photos to be edited in a way that reflects their style and gives their clients incredible images they’ll remember forever.

Yes! Traveling will always have my heart. Travel fees are required for any session 30 miles outside of Raphine, Virginia.

I take the time to perfect each and every image. The click of my camera is only the beginning of my process. I enjoy perfecting your images. I take the time to treat each and every photograph like a canvas and perfect it with my paint brush.

No, all my galleries include files that are ready to print. You do not have to order directly from me, but I do have a few suggestions on the best printing labs. Ordering directly from me is the only way I can guarantee high quality lifetime prints.

What I wouldn’t give to be able to flip a switch on bad weather! Weather happens, but we have options. You may choose to instead do an indoor session in your home. Otherwise, we can brave some weather situations (heavy rain is out of question, though). If the weather forecast looks like it may be unbearable the morning of your session, I’ll give you a call and we’ll work out together.

I try to store files indefinitely, but do not guarantee the storage of images once the final gallery is delivered. I have multiple hard drives and multiple backups. I do ask that when you download your gallery, you back up your files on the off chance something happens to mine. Once the final gallery is delivered and you have downloaded it, I remove it from my site.

If you need to get back into it at any time, that is not a problem at all. I can get you back into your gallery for $60.
